We had a fabulous meal. There was a variety of different meals available so something for everyone. Food was so tasty. The service was great and staff couldn't do more to help. It was a great country pub and the live music outside was great. There was a friendly atmosphere and dogs were allowed outside. Would definitely recommend - 5*
Excellent pies. Would strongly recommend the Moo and Blue..steak pie with Stilton..very filling and flavoursome.. Also the sons "Weird Wellie" was outstanding. Triple cooked chips and real fresh peas as if they were shelled earlier in the day... would of been 5 stars but after ordering as early as 6 o'clock to be told they had ran out of the Weird Wellie even though it was still on the specials boards..
Absolutely outstanding food! Honestly I am so fussy when it comes to food, but this place is the BEST!! Will definitely be returning soon for pie night,, staff are so polite, beautiful place, Thank you so much for a fantastic evening. : Gordon Ramsey would not have found a fault with that meal! Definitely should be a Michelin gold star restaurant!!
Fantastic food, Fantastic staff, Fantastic surroundings. Went twice for breakfast, full English Saturday all I can say is perfect. And pancakes thus morning with actual salted caramel sauce, banana and topped with roasted pecans all as fresh as the day . O and the coffee is just as good .
Great place. Great staff. Meals tasty 7 of us had a roast option. Had to buy cauliflower cheese extra and got 2 small bowls of veg. This is Lincolnshire where veg is everywhere and good price. So good but missing a trick with veg. I will still go again.
Short stop off for a swift pint. First Impressions was very good. Lovely looking pub with lots of character. Plenty of staff about and a female served us she was great. Beer garden was lovely and great play area for kids. It is well presented and loads of space. They had an independent speaker playing background music too. Dog friendly too. Plenty of parking but getting out of the carpark could be a bit hazardous because the road is a tad fast to pull out onto from a standstill. Other than that I'd return if in the area.
Stopped here for some lunch which we enjoyed. Myself being gluten and lactose intolerant the young lady sorry did not get your name was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble making sure my meal was safe and adjusted accordingly, even when my meal arrived which had chips instead of the sauted potatoes she immediately told me the chips were not gluten free safe and went and corrected the meal. Thank you for your caring and polite service.
Good traditional pub. Very cosy with real fire and great atmosphere. We had divided opinion on a food. The pies were excellent, but the other food was average. They were missing two meals on the menu, so we had to choose from what was available. Hence, why only 4 stars.
An amazing place very historic. Service was excellent and I have never had such an amazing homage fish finger sandwich. It was huge and definitely filling. Bloody good too
We called here for a late breakfast on our way home from Skegness, so wasn't sure what to expect. Well I can tell you. Expect incredible warm and friendly service and one of the best full English breakfasts any if us had ever had. Incredible quality produce cooked to perfection by a highly skilled chef. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was divine. Lovely, cosy setting too. Congratulations to the whole team. Keep doing what you do.
