Really nice pub. Great place. Charming decor, lovely outdoors take a look. A word to the wise, have the 700 year old German beer.
Absolutely splendid village pub! We went on a Saturday hadn’t booked. The car park was heaving which is always a good sign, and when we went in, there were lots of people drinking and eating. We asked for a table for two and, although clearly very booked up, the team did their upmost to look after us and find us a table. The staff were then very attentive and we ordered quickly to try to speed things on which was perfect. Food came out very quickly, was piping hot, and delicious! The menu is great, full of pub favourites, and also some interesting specials which I’d have loved to have tried but we tried not to hang around as they were so kind to fit us in! Everything was spot on and I would happily recommend it to anyone!
Just a quick shout out to The Carpenters Arms. Took my grandparents for Sunday lunch and it did not disappoint! A lovely meal had by all... lovely staff and quick service, will definitely be returning in the near future
Absolutely love the Carpenters, food is excellent, service is excellent and the atmosphere is wonderful. Would highly recommend it. Last time we went it was for a family meal and there were 12 of us and we had a great time. Thank you. Kid-friendliness: We had 2 children with us in our group and I was really pleased with the size and quality of their meal it was perfect. Parking: They have there own car park with plenty of room to park.

Dropped in on a Family Bike Ride, we missed lunch which ended at 2pm, but got a range of snacks. I had a delicious Stowford Press. Was idyllic. Could do with bike storage.Service: 5/5
Brilliant friendly pub, popped in for sunday lunch and a dessert afterwards with 2 dogs. Food and cakes were really good.. even won three free pints on the raffle, win win!
