Great place with lovely food. Recommend the steak and ale pie and the breakfasts. Portions are large and all freshly prepared to order. Definitely recommend.

Very sad! We've been using the boulevard for years now, well until today that is. On arrival we found the cafe not full which is always good and we were told the will be a small wait for food (without a reason) and was that OK? We agreed and sat down to a pot of tea thinking a 20 25 minute wait could be expected. 1 hour later..... Still no food, explanation, or even an offer of a fresh warm drink for the trouble! As good as the food is I'm afraid that's us parting company from here on. Sad time folks.

Amazing food and even more amazing staff. Always very polite and friendly, we come back for a treat every time we can. Big menu to choose from and lots of specials. With or without kids this is a must stop if you are out and about in Southport. I would definitely recommend the ultimate boulevard burgers perfect if you are starving as it is massive, 12oz hand made burger just to start.... And not to mention the freshly baked goods!!!

We had the set meal which was fish and chips . Not bad for the price. Sat in the window and it was freezing , had to keep my coat on. Tables too close together.
