We visited for the first time to celebrate my Birthday on Saturday evening and loved every moment. The restaurant is lovely and there is such a nice atmosphere. The staff are attentive and the food is amazing. We will be back in the near future.
This is by far the best Italian restaurant we have been to.. we have been to Milan and Sorrento is Miles above... Staff are so welcoming and kind .. food is devine and true Italian cuisine... Grazie grazie grazie...
We rocked up on a Friday lunchtime without a reservation and the staff seated us very happily. They were very accommodating with our 10 month old baby and the staff were very playful and engaging with him throughout our meal which helped distract him so we could eat.nThe food was amazing, very fresh and full of flavour.nW e highly recommend and would definitely visit again.
Average food expensive for what it offers. Food not comparable to other Italian restaurants in the city. Service is good and the staff friendly. Drinks Average prices for area. I had pasta and was disappointed as I believe I could have cooked better. Others who I ate with had a better experience than I think . I will not rush back.
I have dined at Sorrento for many years as it was my mum’s favourite restaurant. My wife and I returned after spreading my father-in-law’s ashes on Saturday at Our Lady’s church. There were around 13 of us and I was delighted that the food and service had not changed one bit. Whilst the boss was off picking up an award in Sorrento, his daughter Anna did a fab job running the show. Great experience and thoroughly worth a visit. All the best to the Sorrento team with the new restaurant opening in Birkdale in Feb 2025.
