We went hear yesterday and been hear quite often as live over the road. Just because youve changed the name and put a new carpet down dose not justify the ridiculous new prices your charging, what makes you think £5.20 for a pint of larger is guna make your regular customers return or any customers for that matter.
Writing this review under this place being revamped as The Gin House:- The staff in this establishment need to be desperately retrained in hospitality as about 90% of them walk around looking miserable as sin. Very unprofessional; walking around scoffing crisps… I mean isn’t that what a break is for? Forgetting to hand out change and just terrible service overall. I’m very well aware that everyone has a bad day once in a while but when you have a job to do, problems need to be left at home and dealt with later. Prices of course could be cheaper but I’m not overly concerned about prices as long as the hospitality of the staff is very good, which it quite clearly doesn’t seem to be at this place. Very disappointing as the revamp is really nice and well decorated with lovely comfy sofas to sit on inside. Retrain the staff or hire new ones actually willing to do their job.
£5 for a pint shocking
