Lovely place, lovely food not too busy. Staff very pleasant and welcoming I ordered a mini mixed grill for £8 or there abouts. Delicious but there was nothing mini about it. ‍ Husband had steak which he doubled up for an extra £6.

Food was ok NOT what I was expecting from the description had 1 tiny piece of bacon on with almost zero cheese chips were over cooked all round not the best other meals ordered and was also disappointed with them.
We stopped in for lunch on Tuesday and took advantage of their big plate special for £7 chicken new Yorker which would have been great value if most of it hadn't been cold and missing the coleslaw. We ask to delete the BBQ sauce and was charged £1.49 per customer to replace it with something else. None of the staff checked in with us to see if the meal was alright and were impossible to flag down and we didn't see any until they collected our plates. We told him about most of the meal was cold and we were concerned that chicken could have been underdone and he apologised with half a pint of the beer were drinking.
Went there recently with a bunch of biker friends. Food was top notch & plentiful. Everyone was satisfied. Service was excellent. Table service was by a waitress called Rachel, very pleasant, very helpful and good at her job. A credit to the establishment. Will definitely be going there again and would certainly recommend it to anyone.
Food was really good fish was fresh staff are great big helpful hand from Connor and Courtney and Demi who really helped me x
Had lunch here today. Wednesday offer *Curry and a drink* £6.50. Went to order 2 curries a 2 teas and was asked to pay £20+???? When querying this was told, very politely, tea was not on the list of the drinks included in the offer so the curry was full price. We could however have had wine with the offer. Very strange. Settled for the inclusive lemonade. I must say the curry was quite nice.
Great food, great choice and HUGE portions. A hungry horse pub for the people with an appetite of a horse. Great list of festive cocktails and meals, just a shame they didn't have half of them after we spent 20 minutes deciding.
Went with family for my granddaughter birthday, we chose here so the kids could have play time before eating. We arrived at 5.45pm to be charged £5.50 per child one of which was only 2 and only to have just over an hours play as it closed at 7pm.. we ordered food just before 6pm After 10 minutes a woman approached to tell us that we would have to eat in the main dinning area cutting the kids play time even shorter her manner was shocking, she was rude abrupt and certainly didn't have any customer service skills which are key when working in hospitality. When we moved to the main dining area our food was already on the table, but no one had come to tell us it was ready, obviously the food was cold so was one dish was returned and asked for another, the rest were just about edible and as those that were eating it were hungry just ate it anyway. The lady who changed the steak dish was very apologetic , I explained to her about the rudeness of the member staff and how her customer services were shocking, she again apologised and said that she would look in to it. Although my granddaughter had a fun time and her birthday cake was bought out it was a disappointing meal and service for us and certainly will not not be returning.
Great, lovely atmosphere. Family pub :… Kim & Connor were really good staff and couldn’t do more for us. Very clean. Hand san at the end of most tables & toilets regularly clean and checked. Food was really good and good value for money. Play area for kids. Highly recommend
