Food was great, cocktails where delicious and 2forsame1, decor was nice, clean and comfortable. Out sides plastic chairs where nice to sit in but we moved inside due to wasps wanting our drinks. Top tip, don't sit I the window in summer unless you like Dining in a greenhouse. Both waiting staff we interacted with where friendly, attentive and chatty. Manager on shift seemed pleasant as well. You get offered a veggie or gluten free menu as you are seated which was nice for my partner. Only downside was the olives were not pitted so you have to remove the stones from your mouth, that's always great for other people to watch you do while they eat . Very good veggie menu options with lots to choose from. I fully recommend the tapas menu. Bread board, olives, 5 tapas, two sides, one dessert and 8 cocktails was more than enough between us, came to about 95 before the tip.
Update: I have been advised that the balcony is accessible via a lift, although I did not see it nor was informed of the option so if you fancy eating on it then I suggest you ask the staff First things first; The downstairs of the restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but be under no illusions of eating on the balcony. The accessible/baby changing toilet is located on the ground floor behind the kitchen and too the right, but isn't well designed. It has all the necessary components, but due to its dimensions could pose problems with manouvering larger electric chairs, the toilet roll holders are about head height and the floor level is about an inch higher than outside, so even though there is a quadrant strip between the two, be prepared or receive a sharp jolt. They do cater for food intolerances, and have a varied menu but unless South America food is your thing then you may be left with steak & chips .... On the other hand my wife really enjoyed her meal and the staff where pleasant enough which is reflected in my rating. The cocktails are always 2 for 1, but they cost 40% more, so it's not really great value, although if you plan to end with an espresso I would recommend the deconstructed espresso Martini .... This is not a cheap place to eat, nor is it of the pile it high philosophy, but if you want something a little different then it could be worth a look.
I've been to Las Iguanas in different cities now and I think the experience at the Norwich one was the one that went the least seamless; when we entered, there was no one to give us a table so we had to wait around for like 6 minutes; additionally, it took quite a long time for us to get our drinks; the paying process also felt dragged out. Having said that, the food and drink were top notch.
I've been there only once but the food and service were really nice. It was a bit loud in the restaurant so it was not so easy to talk to each other. But I would definitely come here again.
I’ve been here twice now, to this restaurant and the restaurant in Cambridge. I like the food, it’s well presented and tastes nice, however the portion sizes are quite small especially for the price you have to pay. On the other hand the cocktails are brilliant and for two for one cocktails every day, all day- it’s ideal for drinks out!
We didnt try the food but we walked in for afternoon cocktails. Didnt have to book staff were lovely and chatty and the cocktails are amazing! Also 2fo4 one on cocktails so even better! I will be trying the tapas menu next time!
Amazing service and great food! I couldn't decide so went for a tapas selection. Omg yum yum!! Not once had a bad meal from here. Also cocktails are 2for1 so thats a bonus!
Burger is very dry, looks like rubber, no taste at all! For this price you better off going to pub next door or Nandos, although I am portuguese so I am suspicious! The only reason why it's not 1* it's because the cocktail was nice and refreshing
We had a lovely meal here. The waitress was really nice and attentive. The food was excellent. Everything we had was really lovely and I will be back soon. I had a Cuban sandwich and I loved it.
Lovely food and good service, although has an unmistakable chain restaurant feel.
