Came here for lunch on a Saturday. I had the lunch special with salmon, the tempura soft-shelled crab futomaki, and the lotus blossom tea. The salmon was beautifully cooked with garlic and a soy-based sauce, it came with rice, a salad, and two pieces of sushi which were also delicious. They do not skimp on the crab when doing to rolls! I got a whole arm and a claw in one roll alone! Everything was so tasty, and the staff were attentive. I went there about 15 minutes after they opened and there were already people inside, only more followed after and it's not hard to see why. I'd highly recommend sitting at the bar, the seat are very comfortable and you get to see the chefs working.

Great sushi place to enjoy every single bite. I had variety of sushi here with green tea and dumplings for starter. All of which were delicious. Presentation was well though through, ceramic plates resembling marbel and oyster shells. It was simple but elegant. Our host was amazing at bringing the food and making us feel good. At the end seeing how sushi chef have made the food left me with even more respect to this place. I will be back!

Our favourite restaurant in Norwich! We're regulars and the food has always been excellent. Friendly staff and great menu choice even if you don't like Sushi. Highly recommended!

1st time. Brilliant food! I've not had such a lovely meal for ages, and if they can make stir fry veg taste this amazing, then these are talented chefs! The sushi is as good as Shiki was is in the old days, as it's the same chef as they had then. Really great choice of stuff, which means you can have a "meal", whereas sushi alone can lave you a bit hungry. I see some downbeat reviews on Google about the waiter. We were given free water on arrival - if only all restaurants did this! We were served and checked to see if all was well at the perfect times - timing could not have been better. I accidentally gave back the sweets that came with the bill, and asked for them back, and he put a whole load of them in a brown bag for us to take home! Yes, he stood by the till a bit, but I reckon that's what waiting staff often do, I guess. If you get a table in the other half of the place, you'll be totally free of this issue, if having staff at the till is an issue?? I'd be more concerned about recommending that they get slightly dimmer lighting, but that's just my preference. Have a chat to the kitchen staff - they're right there to talk to, and they really love and take pride in their work. I'll be coming back here a lot, and telling my friends too.
