Good to average local place to fill your boots. Average food quality but very good prices. Carvery beef and gammon are perfect!!! Sides quality look below average. Ice cream was really good, recommend. Family friendly place with the family area and a tiny soft play area for kids. Outdoor places. Cleanliness outside could be also a little bit better. Good parking spaces.
Lovely experience, the carvery was delicious, the service & staff were great and the atmosphere was perfect and child friendly. Fraser who served us was very helpful and took the extra time to accommodate our children. Highly recommend
Now whilst a cheap and cheerful pub and decor a bit dull we really enjoyed our lunch here. Excellent value fish and chips supper, the fish was tasty, soft and I just loved having a little bit of everything. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her mini fish dinner. The cakes looked amazing however we didn't try them on this occasion. The staff were friendly and welcoming and I felt comfortable dining with the children.
A great Sunday roast pub for sure and cakes. omg, they look incredible. 3 layers and cheesecakes, too, looked amazing and wonderful to share together at the end of a dinner or to take home. I'm certainly trying one.. but which is the question?nnCute little heated booths outside, dog friendly, and staff come around with a bowl of water for the dogs.nnA fantastic staff team all working so well together, efficiently taking orders, clearing tables and being really helpful and friendly, plus raising money for mcmillian. I'm totally impressed with this busy busy restaurant, I will be back on my next trip to West Whittering. it's definitely worth a stop on route.
Stopped here for lunch en route to W,E away had nice meal various dishes inc the Carvery which was good! Bit disappointed that the cakes in cabinet were just displays and not all available and 1 piece we ordered 2 takeaway and the giant éclair were not the same as ones on display
