Small but good value museum. Part of the museum was shut but the lady let us in for a pound per adult (kids free). Free 3hrs parking on the street near the museum, also good for a short uphill walk to the castle; but you'll need to be quick to fit both visits in before the time is up.

...a very interesting museum, free to local residents, but cheap enough anyway at £3 for adults, £2 for children and concessions. Friendly, helpful staff, clean toilets, disable friendly (lift between floors) cafe, we didn't use but food smelled nice. Search games and dressing up for children, takes a couple of hours to see/read everything... children may lose interest quicker 😉...still worth...oh and free parking behind the building.

Very interesting tour of the prison and court room. Very informative talk on the prison, hangings, paranormal activity and the Pendle witch trials.
