Booked an MOT for my van today, luckily the appointment was couple of weeks earlier than most others I tried, was quite apprehensive to use someone other than my normal ones, however there was no need, was good mannered and prompt with the work. Liz and Jamie were the ones I dealt with today both were very professional. I did ring in and ask also regarding it needing parts and whether I would be able to get it back today or tommorw for work, they handled it well not annoyed or such. At collection let me know what information I needed to know. All in all would recommend and would use again myself.
The lady that dealt with my brake check and replacement was really customer friendly. She called me to advise on both front and back brake states with advisory. The process was smooth and relatively painless.
Liz organised and conducted a brake inspection for me and was excellent from start to finish. Everything was done on time. She took great care of my car and even explained how my brakes wear down. Liz is a superb ambassador for the brand and has convinced me to trust her and her team should I need any car related services in the future. Thank you.
Booked in for an oil and filter change due to a warning on the dash. Took my money for an appointment. When I arrived they said they would change the oil but they wouldn’t not reset the warning unless I paid for a full service. Stated that this was company policy. Absolutely crazy if that is the policy. My service isn’t due for another year. So I’d have to live with the continual warning for a year and, if there were an interim reason for a legitimate oil change…..I’d never know about it. Will not be using kwik fit again. Wasted my time and simply wanted more money from me. Unethical.
Took 20 minutes to answer the phone then when my call was finally answered, the size tyre I needed was not in stock and was told it would take 2 days. Needed to be back on the road much faster and thought Kwik Fit would be able to help. Neither answering the phone or having the tyre I needed was 'Kwik', called Tyre Medics, was sorted in 30 minutes
Booked an MOT 6 weeks in advance, and was called less than 48 hours before my MOT expires that they can't do it because they don't have the right equipment. Now I'm struggling to find someone who can do it at such short notice. If you can't do a Tesla, don't have it as an option on the website!
Absolutely appalling service!!! I happened to be 20 minutes late due to an accident and road works. The tyre fitter didn't even give me a chance to explain instead being very rude and saying he would do my car when he got chance. My car was there for 2 hours before getting a phone call saying they were just going to begin changing the 2 tyres. I asked how long it would take and was quoted 45 minutes. An hour later they still were not finished. The tyre fitter didn't really care about service or creating a good experience and no longer very Kwik at their job. I would recommend going elsewhere as non existent service and rudeness makes me not want to recommend this place to family or friends. Very very poor customer experience
Picked up a nail in a tyre late on Friday afternoon on the M1. Drove into Hinckley K-F at 4.45pm. Despite obviously being very busy, manager Liz, was reassuring and said they'd have a look. Required new tyre and also picked up very badly worn inside edge on another tyre. So, two tyres later, left at 6.15, after normal closing. Great communication, great enthusiasm and great service - even at the end of a demanding day. Well done, to Liz and her technicians. Thanks. Nobody likes forking out for tyres, but can't recommend this branch any higher.
Turned up to the garage with a flat tyre today and asked if it can please be changed as I was with my 2 children and live 90 minutes away, the man said that he can not fit me in as they are busy but when I asked if there is anywhere else I can go to get it done, he said no as nowhere else is open on a Sunday. What a gentleman to refuse a lady and her two children help with a flat tyre who live 70 miles away. I could have cried. Hopefully the next person that come in for help, you will actually take 10 minutes to help them.
Once again first class service so helpful and professional. Elizabeth and the team going out of their way to help. Brilliant. Don’t hesitate to take your business here Mark Harding
