I enjoy this station, it's near my house & if you miss your train you can sit in the pub until the next one comes. Be sure to leave the pub 10 mins before your train is due though otherwise you will get trapped and miss it again, if that happens you have to sit in the pub for another hour & then try again. It's a lot of fun.

Catching the train can be impossible if you you are less than 5 minutes early as there is no foot bridge and the barriers seem to be down an age before train gets in and also strangely after departure So it not a matter of don't be late it's a matter of being 5 minutes early when approaching from the opposite platform Small car park needs improvement Only a small shelter
