"Kites caused a real flutter amongst the social and foodie set when we first opened our doors some thirty years ago and we are still one of the best restaurants in Dublin for Chinese and Thai food. It can be truthfully said that Kites was the first restaurant to give real upmarket Chinese food at its very best.Set over two floors, the style of the restaurant is modern and minimalist, but plush, very comfortable and elegant. Our service is friendly, efficient and humorous. We are conveniently located in the heart of Dublin in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. We are a stone throw from the American Embassy, the RDS, the Aviva Stadium and the InterContinental Hotel to name but a few landmark locations."

Loved this boutique Chinese restaurant on my last Dublin trip. Think the godfather meets delicious Chinese food in a private setting. The restaurant is such that gangster have eaten there. All kidding side, the food was delicious. I could tell the venue has its regulars.

Over price ,starter was a share platter and was over cooked, the ribs only 1 had any meat the other was just a bone ,felt the rest came out of a box and heated The main course was a mix curry, very poor, no chicken, only prawns and a small bit of beefFood: 2/5
This is our favourite and only Chinese restaurant we go to in Dublin now. Their food is incredible and staff extremely friend. We mainly use them for take away orders. They are very quick and the food is always piping hot when we get it. Slightly higher in price compared to a standard Chinese however you are paying for quality here! Well worth it.

Lovely place food nice price aswell.
Great experience. Food superb, had all my favourites, starter, main course - really excellent, what else can I say. Having eaten Chinese everywhere and cannot recall ever eaten better. All at out table, seven, all were equally delighted. The meal was served quite surprisingly quickly. No hesitation in recommending and going there again. In the upper price range but lovely.
