Going from touching chicken to serving chip's without Washing there hands she argued with me when I mentioned it her and got Very hot headed would not recommend at all
Very bad food .not fresh avoid unless you want food poisoning guaranteed . I phoned backed explained i couldnt eat chicken and the chinese lady diasagreed .not even a sorry or send me a replacement fresh chines food . She also hung up the phone with me . Very unprofessional to run a take away restaurant . Very diapointed and i was so nice i gave the driver a tip .
One star for delivery speed. Ordered beef chow main twice now, because I forgot how bad it was it the first time. It's basically 90% greasy noodles with some sort grey "meat" & no vegetables whatsoever. Its absolutely terrible, like fast food from the 1980s. There are far better Asian restaurants in the area. Don't do it!
Want to leave zero. I had issue with my house phone over one year ago. Another time this year the dekivery driver seemly knocked on gate instead of calling me so obviously didn't hear. Have been good customer for 20 years and when I rang in today the owner was extremely passive aggressive and accused me of not hearing my phone last three times. Funny that I have not even been in dublin to order since April..... very confused she wouldn't let me talk I will not be giving my business there. Besides kitchens are filthy always
The Restaurant needs a facelift badly, the decor is not only old and drab but its very dirty .The cooking area does not look clean and the staff are not dressed appropriately to be preparing and serving food. Basically it is a dirty place and is not nice to be inside. However, the food is amazing! But If I had seen the inside of the place before I ordered the first time I would have ran a mile! The service is good and although the lady who runs it seems very blunt and a bit rude she is actually a sweetheart if you take the time to have a chat. I just can not stop eating from here, they have a huge menu and it's all delicious. Always served hot and promptly. I would recommend ordering by phone. All in all, nice food , nice staff ,terrible premises.
We love Szechuan chicken and kung Pao chicken, we order it from many different restaurants and I can tell that Ho Ho was one of our worst experiences. I'm giving one star because it was fast to deliver. Problems: 1 - very little chicken in both meals. 2 - Kung Pao sauce seems like a sweet and saur with cashew nuts. 3 - too much onions on the szechuan sauce, very little of everything else. 4 - the pork dumplings weren't good. Maybe it's a different style of dumplings but there were not enough pastry to cover the meat. For our taste was a bad experience, we're not going back.
Best Chinese take away in South Dublin! The lady at the till is sways super lovely, the price is reasonable and it’s a really homely Chinese food. I always get the same tofu fish and they do an amazing job. Thank you Ho Ho’s !
Hands down the worst take away we've ever had. A few simple spice bags were ordered, however the delivery was anything but spicy. A scattering of bland chips and salty chicken - diabolical performance. Ho Ho? No No. Miserable start to the Chinese New Year. 1 star gained for cans of coke - enjoyable
Take it as you find it. Sweaty galley kitchen open plan. Big ugly steaming pots. Not sure about the cooking and handling of money at the same time, from hand sanitazing perspective. Despite that, the food always tastes like it should! Comfortable seating in waiting area.
I got a Ho Ho last night after many many pints between blackbird and the Bowery. So obviously I was loving the idea of some salt and chilli chicken after my few pints. Me and my brother both ordered salt and chilli chicken, chips and a sweet and sour sauce. The food was dry, rubbery and there was more veg than chicken in the tray which I consider cheating. So ask yourself, how bad does food have to be for a drunk person to complain about it. I rest my case.
