The service seemed to be extremely busy, not a really enjoyable place due to lots of noise and hurry. Food: Nothing special, can not recommend the Tofu dishes. We had chicken curry, too. That was ok, but too much sauce, less chicken and vegetables. All in all not a good price-performance ratio.
We enjoyed our experience here on a Saturday lunch. For starters we had dumplings and a wonton soup. The dumplings were nice but would have definitely been better pan fried and the soup was very peppery. I would not recommend either of these starters as they currently are - some slight tweeks and they would be great! Our mains however - were brilliant. We got French Beans, Satay Chicken and Sweet and Sour Chicken. All of these came with a rice side - we chose egg fried rice which was very fresh and tasty. It was a good portion per dish, you will not need any extra! The French Beans were lovely - fried beans with pork mince and chilli - absolutely delicious and I would recommend trying if you haven't. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was freshly fried chicken which was still crispy in the sauce when bought to our table - again really nice. Finally the Satay Chicken was good - if you like satay, please get this dish. The style here is a lot more 'westernised' than a lot of Chinese restaurants - chopsticks are not on the table as standard and there are western tea cups when ordering Chinese tea lovely by the way!. The meals are designed more towards each person ordering their own meal than a more traditional - lots of plates and pick at everything eating experience. Overall I would recommend eating here as our main meals were lovely and I will be visiting again.
I went for lunch and had the lunch special. The food was very good, I had a noodle soup thing, reasonably priced. The decor was very tired though. Service was quick. It's an out-of-place Chinese restaurant surrounded by hipster coffee shops and a fresh supermarket. It probably won't last much longer before being bought by a trendy chain so cherish it while it's there
Love the food. Tasty and reasonably priced. Chicken chow mein my favourite
If you want authentic Chinese try the Cantonese duck or the tofu with vegetables. Comfortable, reasonably priced, great place for lunch and dinner and excellent takeaways
beautiful scene with good Chinese food~ the most important is that the bosslady is nice and treat us well :
Great Chinese food, with beautiful river views.
I’ve ordered ribs from here for takeaway before, you get 5-6 ribs for €6.50. I ordered in the restaurant and you only get two, the reason “you only get two when you eat in”
I wish I read the reviews before ordering as the food was ... mediocre. Definitely frozen and then reheated. My boyfriend felt grossed out and lost his appetite from the look of the crispy chicken. The batter was very light, under cooked. I don't recommend the vegetable Spring rolls, very plain. The pulled pork was surprisingly good but their fried rice wasn't worth paying extra. Basically, boiled rice with a tiny piece of omelet here and there.
Food was good. Nice setup. But the language barrier was the thing.
