An away from it all bit of countryside within East Birmingham. We took the dog for a walk and met other friendly dog walkers. Didn't get the chance to walk around the pond because of young motor cyclists racing on the grass and unsettling the dog.
Lovely, serene and calm place for a short visit and drive.
I take my 2 dog around the park, there's plenty of room. Most of the time it's an enjoyable walk. You do get motorbikes sometimes. Almost everyone I've met on my walks have been friendly, the dogs are well behaved. I walk around there twice a day, it's a nice place to be outside. Playground: There is a playground for small children. Dog-friendliness: Lots of dog walker's, most are really good & friendly. You might come across some untrained dogs & owner but not may. Picnic area: There are a few places with metal benches to have food etc
A shame about this place, it could be lovely but the area it’s in makes it feel unsafe. Lots of graffiti and lads on pit bikes riding around. The play area has minimal equipment and is falling apart but the lake is nice to look at and the dogs liked it.
lovely swans lovely geese who don't attack. Child was near it but goose was chill. Unfortunately tree trimmers were noisy but it was a one off, lovely picnic. Little play park is a bit rusty but nice Picnic area: Big field nice little flowers or by the lake but sometimes there are lots of flies by the lake also big dragonflies
Beautiful place. Lovely big park with a really big lake. Swans geese and ducks on the pond. There's a play area for kids and a basket ball court. Lovely and clean. Lovely big Area to walk the dog.
This is an amazing walk as part of the 7 wonders walk, called The Dingles. My wife and I discovered it after taking a walk earlier in The Haunch Brook walkways. On the opposite side of the dingles towards The Shire Country Park is the John Morris Walkway. We spent a few hours discovering the areas, collecting berries to make jam and just enjoying the inner child memories. Was a little wet due to the recent rain, but the sun came out and we will surely visit it again once spring/summer comes around next year.
Beautiful space. Tidy area. It was nice weather 2day so there were loads of ppl fishing, walking, having picking and sunbathing.
Lovely little playground for the kids swings, slide, climbing frame and see saw and seating for parents
Love this park over the years there's been a,lot done to this area from upgrading the walk ways to introducing wildlife which have thrive the most successful being the parakeets. In the summer great place to go for all families couples or on your own.the kids can play an explore and even places to sit and have a picnic just remember to collect all your rubbish before you leave
