Its criminal just how quiet this place is most of the time. Youre never going to hear anyone saying that this is the best curry house around, but the service is amongst the best Ive ever experienced and the price of the food is competitive with just about any other Indian restaurant around. Its not the BEST food you can buy, but I can also say that Ive never had a bad meal here.
The best Indian restaurant in Preston by a Curry Mile! I haven't been a customer for 20+ years, whether I've lived round the corner or moved a little further away, without good reason. And many high recommendations exist in the Penwortham area which is closer to me now, but we still won't be swayed from the King Karai. And the staff! Well, they still recognise us even if we do only get to see them about once a year now ;-
Lovely restaurant with excellent food and very attentive staff. I found this place via Google reviews because I'm from the west London area. Glad I did because it was just as good if not better than the places around where I live. The bill at the end was very reasonable too.
I Have eaten here several times in the last few years and have always had a very nice meal. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. I will definitely be going again.
I often get a takeaway from here, the food is always very high quality and tastes great. When we do eat in, the staff are always friendly and attentive, I would recommend as one of the best Indian restaurants in Preston.
Not king karai but The maharani I ordered a chicken tikka madras takeaway It came with small pieces of chicken & a sauce dominated by the flavour of pepper I couldn’t really taste anything else I was so disappointed I binned it I’ll never Go there again
Food is always tasty. Staff very friendly. There's lots to try on the menu and they have good deals. Two eat for £15.
First time we've been. Fabulous food. Fantastic service. Can't believe we've not gone here before.
Tasty and reasonably priced. Surprised at the reviewer that complained about paying for poppadoms and dips as this is pretty standard for restaurants. Maybe they should stick to delivery Indian.
Not as good as the King Karai. The new owners not as welcoming and food ok but not as good as before.
