Half an hour before they closed had the fryers off. No chips and could only buy what was in the cabinet. Had a fish cake but potato was hard not very nice,friend had a sausage which was well done. Had to throw both away.Food: 2/5
We thought we’d found a perfect place to get our fish and chips, good portion sizes, fish nicely cooked, chips nicely browned, plenty of them. This week the chips were hugely undercooked, soggy and pale, and despite asking for the fish to be wrapped separately, they were wrapped with the chips, and were squashed into pieces in one case by the chips. Disappointing treatment of what had previously been excellent quality ingredients. How to lose the business of appreciative customers.

Ordered fish and chips but told the pans were turned off, so got what was left. Chips and some unpleasant looking sausages which were cold when I got home. I suppose it’s my own fault for ordering so close to closing time, but why stay open until 9.30 if you don’t intend to offer your menu until then? Usually decent, avoid after 9.
I ordered the special which came like a small fish. I ordered a fish that came like a fish piece. My span fritter was so thin I thought it was on a diet I did get a free bottle of Coke the curry sauce was watery was a waste of money my chips I did get loads of them with scraps but there was very mushy and paleFood: 2/5
