Spent £33.90 and got basically no food portions are proper shocking look at the state off the fish batter is not cooked at all completely soggy what a absolute joke do not order from here. Called the shop and the women said we are busy then tried to blame uber.
Brilliant service and food from the fisheries. Even when the Uber driver lied and didn't bother delivering item when they should the staff at Oakwood Fisheries were understanding and tried to help. Cannot fault the fishery. Uber are the issue.
There's always a layer of uncooked batter around the fish. I don't know why, given they've been in business a long time. Either they coat the fish too thickly in batter, or they don't fry it long enough. It's my local, so I wish they'd fix this problem, then I'd go more regularly.
Went in with my kids today for first time. Really nice scampy and great fish n chips. Soft white fish and crispy batter. Perfect
Just spent a fortune on fish and chips for the family and they are clap cold ended up in the bin …. DO NOT recommend !!
Really surprised at the poor quality of food today. Used to go here alot years ago and it was great. Food was old, tasted like it had been stood for a while. Not fresh at all or hot. Very Disappointed.
