Its a nice train station with the Bakerloo line & London Overground trains stopping here. The station was clean no sign of any staff no disabled access to the platforms only stairs. Was very quiet & empty when i came here.
Such lovely helpful staff always ready to help. This station is ever so clean, for a old station. Thank you Clement for cleaning this station with love and care. We the passengers appreciate you and your bright good Mornings. Happppppy Passenger Dionne. Xx
The current station building is rather ugly. Very sad that the elegant older station building was demolished decades ago.
This is a nice station which got a bad reputation if you travelled through there later in the evening. Most of those problems have all been sorted out and this is a nice, quaint older style of station. Good routes in and out of London so very useful
It's a station on overground. Signage, seating, no toilets. 2 platforms. Quietish.
Seems to be an OK commuter station by the looks of it. Lacks in step free access and other facilities which seems to be the norm for this section of track. But at least there's a ticket office and nice staff.
Needs a refurb to modernise but it is a nice station with friendly staff. also needs a lift as the stairs are an inconvenience if you have a pushchair or lots of shopping.
Ahh happy times, we’re I grow up was staying here way back 1978, loved this area “Purves Road” way back then always playing football & cricket on the streets with the other kids living there, we then move to Stonebridge in 1980 and stayed there.
Really enjoy my daily dose of classical music. Shame the staff are only overground based would be useful if they were trained on both systems.
Very nice station. Great for spotting trains on the WCML and Watford DC lines
