A quaint little tea shop offering a selection of Japanese flavored pastries and teas. I tried the Black sesame cake. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much choice when we arrived as the shop was full so I would recommend going there early or on non full days to fully enjoy the experience, food and decor
A nice place to have some authentic Japanese teas. Note that they do not serve any savouries, only cakes. Very cosy place if not too crowded because the acoustics can be quite noisy when fellow patrons of the cafe talk very loudly, all at the same time.
What a lovely place! The tea selection is great and the one I had was delicious. I couldn't resist having a slice of cake... looked amazing and tasted even better, couldn't wait to eat it so I didn't even take a picture. Great service, the people working there are lovely and the costumers were also friendly. What a gem of a place to stumble into!
Love this place! It's like secret Japanese garden in Angel. Chill vibes and friendly staff, dog friendly too! : They have variety of tea to choose and also serve coffee. Have indoor a d outdoor seating.
Such a cute and quiant little spot tucked away from the main road. Managed to find a spot to sit in and take in the decor whilst enjoying a cake and latte. There's a fairly big menu so will have to come again to try them all!
Great selection of high quality teas and desserts. Can get a bit crowded and stuffy inside but there’s a cute garden area at the back if you don’t mind the cold too much in winter. Service is good with a buzzer system which saves you from standing around. Loved their matcha cheesecake!
Great Japanese cafe. The hōjicha latte was delicious. We ordered a matcha milcrepe layered crepes cake with cream and it was quite tasty, although perhaps too much cream or it may be that cream here is heavier than in Japan.
Really great cafe. Definitely go for the matcha crepe cake. It was very tasty. The sesame cheesecake was not as good but still good.
I don’t live in the area but I make an effort to go to this cafe 2-3 times a month. I love the calm atmosphere in here, the people talking gently, some working on their laptops. It’s warm and welcoming. There’s a lovely back garden and a majestic Savannah cat you might be lucky enough to see. Obviously the cakes, tea and sake are all brilliant, too!
Cute little cafe hidden near Angel station. The iced hōjicha latte was perfect, not too sweet and not too bitter. The cakes are also delicious. I’ll definitely come back whenever I’m in Angel
