Love the chilled laid back atmosphere. There are comfy chairs and plug points for your laptop. Varied selection of hot teas and iced teas. My favourite is the Camden Coco. You can buy the teas to make at home if you so choose.
Great addition to Brick Lane. The space is not as bright as the Goodge Street one and they had scones but no clotted cream, so there's still some room for improvement.
Great spot! the staff are really friendly and knowledgeable on their MASSIVE selection of teas! They're super helpful and keen to offer suggestions based on preference and mood. On top of that, they have a great selection of cakes and sandwiches/salads which have vegan and gluten free options. These guys are obviously very thoughtful and understand the demographic in the area. I can see myself being a regular here for sure! Thanks Yumchaa
Maybe I'm just lucky, but not once the staff has been rude not non-accommodating to me. And I drop by quite often due to this branch being very close to my office. If anything, they've always been polite, friendly and generous on smiles to me. Yumchaa tea is something I treat myself to now and day, especially when working on a big project. And it's never a disappointment.
Macha cake doesn’t taste like macha. Macha tea doesn’t taste much macha either
Home to one of the better hot chocolates that I've tasted in London, and a really cosy atmosphere. Feels spacious, and the decor is lovely. The service is friendly and there's a nice selection of cakes, and a extensive selection of exotic teas as well!
Same delicious Yumchaa teas and goods overall but service was very half-hearted. Despite being there 2 hours before closing we were told we could only have our take-in teas in cardboard take-away cups. The reason we were given for this was that they had already finished cleaning the ceramic mugs i.e. they didn't want to dirty the freshly cleaned ones I'd expect a place like Yumchaa that serves tea all day to have a dishwasher and not to increase waste unnecessarily. Otherwise, the tea was great as always and we even managed to nab the last remaining slices of vegan banana bread. It would be great more of a vegan/lactose-free selection though.
The strawberry vanilla latte was delicious and worth going back. However, the girl that served us seemed bored and wasn't very friendly and we were served in takeout cups although we stayed in. Overall the service and atmosphere was a let down.
Can't recommend for coffee, at least not if you're looking for a decent espresso. Other items seemed nice and the decor/atmosphere was good. However, I ended up getting a stale double espresso in a large cup that just wasn't what I expected of the place.
Fruity tea heaven, with very nice and cute decor. I had a berry tea smoothie type drink and a mozzarella, tomato and pesto focaccia. Both were very tasty, service was friendly.
