I had a wonderful experience here. After a stressful day at work, I stopped by without much of a plan, just hoping to find some peace and relaxation. The staff went above and beyond to help me. I asked for a variety flight but wasn’t sure what I wanted, so they kindly guided me through the options and made some great recommendations. I’m really grateful for their patience and understanding—they made the whole experience so calming. This place is such a peaceful escape in the middle of a busy area, and it’s been great for my mental health to have a spot like this to unwind. Thank you for creating such a welcoming and serene environment, and the teas were just what I needed. Picture from my visit the next day.
This place was on my list to visit for a long time I happened to be in the area with a friend and I had to visit. It did not disappoint! The tea was so good that I bought a pouch. Service was great and staff were helpful. The atmosphere was relaxing and perfect for tea drinking. Can't wait to visit again.
They have selections of great teas. So many of them i can’t find in my home country, Thailand even though we are close to the origin of great teas, China. The teas here are spectacular. I have been watching Don’s VDOs for 3 years and always wanted to come here. Now that I am in London and Mei Leaf was the first place I visited when I arrived London. Keep the great tea selections. Cheers!
Finally I could go to this tea house and shop. I had the tea tasting at the Horniman Museum with Mei Leaf, so I went to see the shop. Very clean and bright, great selection of teas! The tea pies were tempting! The staff is knowledgeable and happy to help. They also have a connected agopunture facility in-site. I usually drink green tea when I've my stomach upsetted, so I was advised to use Cloud Lake tea. The teas are coming in 3 size: tasting 30 gr, 50 gr, and 150 gr. Interestingly, their pouches are compostable, and you can peel off the label and place it on the jar and keep using the pouch.
After the bustling Camden activities I came here to get some matcha for a gift and intended to get a takeaway drink before moving onto the next activity. The matcha came in a cute ceramic container so I got two. It felt so calming I stayed for a flight of 3 teas for £15 you can pick from the extensive menu. The man advised me but left it up to me to choose. I asked the lady the best way to drink them and she explained what Puerh is to me I chose 3 of this type the flavour notes as well as the method. Lots of good things to say about this shop and their workers. They're so kind, super knowledgeable with all the questions I was asking and have a smile on their faces. I use to come here a lot before COVID and will definitely be returning more often again. They also have other health related services in the shop.
What an amazing tea shop. There are so many varieties all of super high quality and the staff knew so much about them. It was kind of overwhelming in a good way - I was excited to try everything! ...but there's only so much time in the day haha. I ended up sampling 6 different teas 2 whites, 1 yellow, 1 oolong, 1 black, and 1 puerh and I got such a different experience with every single one! I probably spent 2-3 hours there just exploring, tasting, and talking to the staff about tea. Incredible experience. HIGHLY recommended if you're at all interested in tea.
The tea selection is top notch and the staff are very friendly and helpful. This is my absolute favorite teahouse. I love getting a flight of different teas to try or a matcha latte. All the teas have tasting notes listed to help you decide and if you let the staff know what you’ve liked in the past, they always recommend really interesting new teas to try. You can also purchase the loose leaf teas to take home and enjoy.
The store is very cute and their blends are phenomenal. A rare authentic shop find in the heart of corporate-chains-dominated Camden. I most enjoyed the service of a staff member called Raya, she gave impeccable recommendations and outlined all the benefits. Just follow her instructions and you’ll be well taken care of!
For anyone who is interested in tea, this is a must. The knowledge and experience is second to none, the range of teas unbeatable and it's just one of the best ways to savour a moment of time. Staff are always friendly and helpful - a great way to enjoy some of the best teas in London.
Very welcoming atmosphere! Got some studies done whilst enjoying nicely brewed tea Food: 5/5
