Mission

Very few of us are fortunate enough to fit the standard clothes sizes available on the High Street. You don’t have to be particularly tall, short, large or small to have some difficulty buying clothes off the peg that fit as they should.
How often have you gone on a shopping trip with a particular garment in mind – a style; a colour; a fabric type – only to find that it doesn’t fit in with the current High Street trends, so can’t be found for love nor money?
Material shops and market stalls are full of all types of wonderful fabrics; fashion magazines jam-packed with every possible style of garment – so why be restricted by what is available in High Street stores?
Karlus G. Tailor believes we should all be able to have the clothes we desire and deserve, so offers a custom made clothing service at affordable prices. A suit made and fitted to your measurements starts from £250, an evening dress from £100 and a pair of jeans that fit perfectly can be yours from £80.

If you have a much loved garment that no longer fits, or you’ve found an amazing bargain on a sale rack just one size too big; then get it professionally altered by a qualified and experienced tailor.
Want something made, altered or repaired, but don’t see it listed in the service/price lists? Don’t worry – almost anything is possible, so just ask!

WIN WIN SITUATION!! I had an event coming up and didn’t want to spend money on a new black suit. So I took my old baggy suit to Karlus and left him to work his magic..and I wasn’t disappointed at all!! Amazing service!! I saved money not having to buy a new suit, plus the cost wasn’t no where near as much. #winwin Would highly recommend - attention to detail and quality of his work exceeded my high expectations. I will definitely be using him again I’ve got a wardrobe of clothes ready to be reinvented :-D

I’ve taken all my clothes to Karlus for adjustments for many years. He always exceeds expectation and well priced compared. You won’t be disappointed.

The zipper on our duvet came off and they not only fixed it but made it better. 10/10 would recommend. Great service!

If you’re looking for proper bespoke tailing as a price, that doesn’t approximate the national debt in this man and the lovely lady who accompanies him will make you some sensational clothes quickly and courteously. In all honesty, it’s a pretty unique combination, a pair of bespoke trousers for about £200, and a jacket for not much more than double that. do mention me when you call him, you might not get a massive discount, but I certainly will!!

Professional and top quality service is the only way to describe this business. I've taken a few shirts and a blazer to get tailored. I stand in front of a mirror for a few minutes with the garments on, have a fews pins stuck in here and i'm left wondering in doubt.  Come back a week later and I have the best fitted clothing i've ever worn. So I went a step further and brought a blazer which was made to be waterproof, stain proof and wrinkle proof with about 10 hidden pockets. It didn't fit at all well so took my chances. Again, expectations exceeded and now I have a well fitted blazer for work which can withstand the elements and rough conditions plus hide things in my hidden pockets.  Basically, i'm saying this is one of the best tailors in the country handsdown! Also super convenient as the car park is literally a cross the road and the walk from the train/tram station is like 3 minutes. If you can see the picture, try and find where it was adjusted???

Both Karlus and his sister are super friendly and customer service is 10/10. Every alteration I've had done has been great. The best tailors in Birmingham without a doubt in my humble opinion.

Explained at short notice we needed an emergency dress alteration for my wife and even though we were a first-time customer they could not have been more helpful. Very professional services, I’m always a last minute person and I always need my dress to be done “ very now”  and Karlus and his colleague is always there to help and get the work done in time. They both are very friendly and kind   I’ll be their regular customer forever  : thanks for being so great

I contacted them once to ask for the prices of some alterations. After receiving a reply, I asked if they could tell me when they would be available for an appointment, given that I would have been traveling from far away, but after almost 3 weeks and several follow-up emails I am yet to receive a reply. Quite disappointing.
