Visited today after making an appointment to try on wedding dresses. When I arrived, I was told that as the company was going into administration, it would be self serve. I was advised to choose 3 dresses and take them to changing rooms where staff would gladly help me to put dresses on etc. I was not informed of this when I booked my appointment at all. They were even selling off the rails that the dresses were hanging on! If you are happy to look through dresses with no support or guidance at all, and you want a bargain- this may be the place for you. If you are looking for a personalised experience, I would not even bother.
I visited David’s Bridal on Saturday and was looked after by Paige. I was a little worried after reading a few reviews, but I was blown away with the service we received. Paige was thorough and friendly, and we enjoyed every moment. Paige helped me find my dream dress and it came in under budget which is even better! Although there were other people in the changing rooms, it was such a nice atmosphere and seeing other people find their dresses was also a lovely experience. I particularly loved the bell ringing ceremony at the end, which brought us both my Mum and I to tears. Thank you so much David’s Bridal
Had a great experience at David’s Bridal Birmingham. Sadly they are closing down, but this means there is a big sale on. Leanne helped me with lots of different dresses and was really helpful with choosing and being honest. She was great at sorting out sizes and styles. Found a designer dress at not designer prices.
A shame to hear that David’s Bridal is going. But I would like to thank the staff who are all working extremely hard with all smiles and making other brides and bridesmaids their dream come true. Massive thank you to Ella who helped me find my Bridal dress! It was the first Bridal shop I walked into and the 2nd dress we went with. A wonderful experience. We celebrated by ringing the wedding bells Another shining star was Rita, I went for my Bridal fitting alone and she was very warm, friendly and professional, she listened to everything and we even had some interesting conversations. Last but not least, a lady whose name I didn’t quite catch, she has blonde hair in a claw clip, tall and could even touch her toes standing straight! She made sure my bridesmaids were walking out happy. Thank you all!
Customer service his above and beyond. Laura was so patient , understanding,supportive her customer service skills were more than expected. I didn't felt rushed at all , She actually took the time out for me and she knew before hand what would suit me. For the short notice has I am getting married December 2022 they rush my order with an extra charge. I left the store feeling so excited and happy . I found my dress and I did cry but happy tears. We had such great service that we decided on a dress on the 2nd visit! Kate Dosanjh is an invaluable asset to any bride to be. Her product knowledge paired with awesome interpersonal skills led us to the Perfect dress. She made the experience feel special for all of us. It felt like she was equally invested in finding the perfect dress for our bride, more of a mission than job. Thank you for making the journey so simple, easy and memorable. Touches like the bell ringing ritual we're fabulous, the Only negative was the lack of bubbly . I Couldn't recommend this shop with more ease, and if you can book your appointment with Kate , you will thank me later pics are not of chosen dress!
Thank you so much to Leanne who helped me find the dress of my dreams. Leanne was patient, kind and understanding of everything, helped me find a dress that felt like a million dollars whilst still fitting into my tight budget. Working in bridal I truly believed that I would never feel that 'Ive found the one feeling's, but Leanne helped create a magical experience that allowed me to find that feeling. Cannot wait to bring my fiancee here to find her dress too
Came on Saturday 13.05.2023 to buy 3 bridesmaid dresses. Was a bit worried as heard all the rumours regarding closing down. Arrived for our appointment, there was 7 of us in total. We was appointed Skye as our assistant, she was amazing. She gave us a tour of the shop, showed us lots of different colours and fabrics. Store, still has loads of stock. We chose a few different Navy Blue dresses, she let the bridesmaids try gold shoes on with the dresses. Skye was so professional and very helpful. All the bridesmaids managed to find their dresses. 2 were in their sale and 1 was full price. £270.00 for 3 bridesmaids dresses was amazing. All of us, left the shop so happy. Layout of shop 10/10 Stock 10/10 Friendliness 10/10 Professionalism 10/10 Skye 10/10 Would definitely recommend. I hope the shop remains open, as, ALL the staff were amazing.
Amazing bridal dress shop in Birmingham with an excellent, unique selection of wedding dresses, evening gowns, bridesmaids dresses, shoes and other wedding related items. Laura, my dress selection and ‘try on’ assistant, was very knowledgable, accommodating, kind and patient and I would totally recommend her to anyone searching for the dream wedding dress. Thanks too to the rest of the staff who were attentive from I entered the store, being early for my appointment, cheerful and clearly love what they do/where they work/who they work for. Thank you David’s Bridal - first class for all things bridal. Will be back soon.
Lydia and Vaishali were so helpful in helping me find my wedding dress! We had an amazing first ever appointment in a wedding dress shop and we cried when I tried my dress on. It was perfect and both of them were beyond helpful. I’ve been back since to check out bridesmaids dresses and collected my dress within a month of ordering! Tatiana was super helpful today in boxing up my dress so my fiancé doesn’t see it. Thank you, all! I can’t wait for my alterations appointment.
