You want a honest review ... well here you go Genuinely an amazing garage with the best guys working in there ... let me explain. So my cars regulator the mechanism that moves it up and down was bent from the previous owner , so I wanted to get this fixed as any person will want to .. I tried ordering the part through Hyundai themselves which was a pain to say the least I spent over 4-5 hours trying to order it with them , but I kept getting sent in circles so In the end they gave me a part number and they quoted me £721 for the regulator and motor ... which anyone who has a brain cell wouldn’t pay that much for a single regulator and motor... long story short ordered one online for a fraction of the price keep reading as this part gets interesting later So long story short again it eventually Shows up and I’m on the phone to several garages in my area who wanted anywhere between £60-£200 until I landed on kamblys garage & recovery who quoted me £40 at first I was very sceptical as this was the lowest but I did just take it there as I thought what’s the worst that can happen, I get to the garage and I’m introduced to a chap which got onto sorting it out straight away! Turns out I ordered the wrong part and that it was a tad bit small ... but he said was going to modify it so it would work with mine... which no over mechanic would of done btw and they would of just got angry and sent me home ... but this gentleman tried his all to think outside of the box to see what he could do to actually make it fit but had no luck , as he was standing there another guy turned up and said yeah there’s no way that’s gonna work with my car so they was going to straighten my original part out so that the window wasn’t twisting when rolling down. At this point I was disappointed as I bought the wrong one and I’d have to send it back with a tonne of hassle so They straightened it out And fitted it back in. As I’m about to pay for the labour which Ofc I didn’t mind as this guy bless him spent 2 hours trying to sort it out for £40 so I was going to give him a little extra as a thank you, I rolled the window down and it twisted again , he instantly without fail said he couldn’t leave me without a proper service and told me that he would see what he can do with the new one .... These guys are super smart and logical with how they think and I cannot Express how I felt when I was there it was like I was watching a live IQ Test ... absolutely amazing .. They fabricated the new part so that the holes would line up with the windows holes which was to me very impressive rather than saying no sorry and sending me home so the windows in with the regulator and then we come across another problem where the part doesn’t have the right connectors and the manual was totally useless so he fabricated and modified it so it would work with the new one !! Cut a long story short these guys are absolutely amazing people and more than what an English mechanic would have done and I went home with a working window! Absolutely stunning service and I can’t express how happy I am with the job ... at the end of the day these guys will go out of their way to do anything and nothings a challenge for them
