My wife was recently at the John Radcliffe receiving treatment in the neurology department as a result of a head injury and then moved to the main hospital for a gallbladder removal.nI am full of praise for this hospital. Not only are the facilities of a very high standard but the skill of the medical staff was brilliant.nThe hospital has such an excellent ethos. From the senior surgical staff to those attending the wards the care my wife received was superb. The staff were always friendly and courteous. The smiles and the encouragement they gave speeded my wife's recovery.nIf only all hospitals were able to achieve such high standards!
ICU staff absolutely amazing.nThe Mitie cleaning team and the hospital management should be sacked. The toilets are filthy. Nothing is clean enough for a hospital. Even the Mitie customer experience machine doesn't work. Get your act together!!! You're putting people's health in danger with unsanitary conditions!!
Dr. Hamid Bashir is an incredibly kind and friendly doctor. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel comfortable and truly cared for. They listened patiently, spoke gently, and treated me with genuine warmth and respect. It’s rare to meet a doctor who combines professionalism with such a caring annd compassionate attitude. I’m very grateful for the support I received.
After a long wait for a diagnosis of thoracic outlet syndrome and my son was placed on a one-year waiting list elsewhere, he was fortunate to find Thoracic Surgeon Di Chiara. He arranged a consultation quickly and performed uniportal VATS first rib resection within a couple of months at the John Radcliffe Hospital.nnThe surgery and recovery exceeded the expectations — a smooth recovery, and no complications. Dr Di Chiara combines exceptional surgical expertise with genuine compassion and professionalism. We are incredibly grateful to him, to his team, to the Cardio-Thoracic ward and to all the staff involved on his care for the outstanding care my son received.
I was admitted to John Radcliffe Hospital for spinal surgery and I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional nursing staff who cared for me in Trauma Ward 3A.nnChinwendu, my night nurse, was incredibly kind, gentle, and compassionate. She looked after me throughout the entire night with great patience and dedication, always checking on me and making sure I was comfortable and safe. Her calm and caring nature truly helped me through a very difficult time.nnChanchal, my day nurse from Trauma Ward 3A, went above and beyond in her care. In the mornings, she personally helped me with washing and personal care, making sure I felt clean, comfortable, and dignified despite my condition. She was attentive, supportive, and always reassuring, treating me with genuine kindness and respect. Her level of care made me feel truly looked after, both physically and emotionally.nnI appreciated both nurses so much that I presented them with a bouquet of flowers as a small token of my gratitude for their outstanding love, support, and care. They made me feel valued and at ease during my hospital stay.nnI would highly recommend both Chinwendu and Chanchal to anyone. Patients who are cared for by them are truly lucky. Thank you both for everything you did for me.
