The building is easy enough to find your way around and the cafe is nice (although coffee isn't as nice as when Costa were there) but there's usually a shortage of seating. So many staff don't know what they're doing - communication between staff is diabolical and there is also a level of arrogance, especially from the Sister in my ward. The nurse assigned to me didn't have a clue at all about anything so I had to stay in there 24 hours longer than I should have. I was only allowed to go home because I complained so much. Another nurse gave me Ibuprofen even though I hadn't eaten for 9 hours and didn't have anything with me. Appointments keep being rescheduled and sometimes it's only a couple of days before that I find out the x-ray isn't actually in Bristol anymore and I do actually have to visit Oxford.

Had a right hip replacement today. All the staff - nurses, surgeon (even though I didn't see much of him!), Doctors and general staff have been brilliant. Nearly midnight now and really not feeling bad at all. Hopefully on my feet tomorrow. Thank you everyone and thank you NHS 🙂

Great clean and modern facilities, dedicated and excellent specialists, nursing and ancillary staff. Everyone should be proud of this hospital, the NHS at it's best. Only gripe is the large but still overly busy and crowded car park, but you can't have everything!

I cannot speak highly enough of the excellent care, consideration and professionalism of every member of staff that I have encountered at this hospital. It is a very calm, comfortable place to be and we should all appreciate how lucky we are to have the Nuffield in our midst.

The staff are universally great, very friendly and attentive, constant flow of cuppa's. The centre seems well maintained and clean. The surgical team did a top notch job. If it wasn't for the one downside this place would completely deserve 5 stars. The downside then... The parking is horrific even by hospital parking standards, small car park with nowhere near sufficient spaces. You can literally see a few dozen stressed drivers roaming, hunting for a space. If you actually do manage to park you then better pray you have the correct change, and it must be change, since the cash machine and change machine in the hospital main entrance are for decoration only and will not actually serve to issue or change cash. Oh and for your wallets sake don't park on the poorly maintained crab grass as you'll get a ticket. You'd think with the profit margin on the car park (which is significant) they'd want to gouge as many patients as possible but I suspect they've worked out a deal with local garages to get a percentage of fuel ups.
