I had my baby here on 2nd November 2022. I nearly had a 1mth inpatient stay. The staff on level 6 were outstanding. The level of care from the midwives was exemplary. The consultants were compassionate and understanding. They catered well to my needs. Everything was explained in good detail. I had a complicated high-risk pregnancy. After the delivery, I was on level 5. The medical staff here were clearly overstretched with staff shortages. However, I was thoroughly satisfied with my care. I would like to show some love to the catering staff and domestic staff too. They were helpful and very pleasant to deal with. They changed my bedding with a smile every time I asked. A note to the trust, please rotate your dinner menus. For people with long inpatient stays, the same food choices can be very depressing especially for those fussy eaters. I found it very hard to eat after surgery.
I cannot thank everyone in this department enough. Today was a big day for myself and my partner knowing there was a possibility that something was wrong with our baby girl. Every single person who saw us today made us feel welcome and safe. I was very anxious from the moment I walked in and I didn't feel invalided once. Once we went in for the ultrasound everything was explained in detail and all questions were answered. To be told there was nothing wrong with our baby and that she was just tiny was a huge relief. The lady from reception came to see me after my scan to check up on me and see if everything was okay. Honestly she was an angel. Thankyou everyone who was there this morning. I'm eternally grateful
It is what it says... a gynaecology and maternity wing of the John Radcliffe Hospital... all the staff are lovely and it's easy to get around without getting lost...
We went to JR Hospital for Delivery on 10.05.22 it was fabulous being there every one in the Maternity ward and the Delivery room staff were very kind Hearted Especially Sis.Emily Midwife from Delivery suite as well as all the Dr. and Nurses were just like Angels in a Human form Looked after my wife and my New Born Baby like anything Iam really great full to all the Medical team. Wonderful place for Delivery. Love you All... May the Good Lord Be with YOU ALL IN ALL YOU DOO... Amen. Date and Time Of Delivery. 10/05/22 at 9.45.PM. Thank you All. With Lots of Love for you All. All the stuffs here are so friendly and professional. They are just amazing! Environment is well cleaned, and meals are delicious. Definitely the best place to give birth xx
I was treated with incredible sensitivity, respect and understanding. I was given a room to the side which I felt was really beneficial for me and the other patients on the ward. I can not fault the staff for the care I received. They were exceptional. Thank you so much to all the staff.
Such a proffesiolalists people. Verry polite and helpfull. Treat us verry kindlly and serious. Did all checks for us and did not let us go until we re safe and back to live. On the end relife our stress with cup of tea and snack. thank You for Your great Job.
I was here to deliver my baby and the staff was wonderful, so friendly and kind. Make you feel like you have nothing to worry about. Just wonderful... Keep up the good work
Were so amazing bringing my son into the world a few years back now. Only downside I can give is the parking is borderline abysmal on busy days where they really need to utilise the multi-story more.
