I found the Tai Chi classes are nice and friendly, where you all train and learn together. The Instructors have great knowledge and always helpful. I totally recommend it.

If you want to learn real Yang style Tai Chi, this is the schoool to learn from. I orignially wanted to learn Tai Chi for health reasons, but the more I learnt the more I wanted to know more about the martial arts side. A great open learning environment and the instructors and master will be happy to take their time to explain and nuture your growth. Highly recommended.

I was introduced to this place via a friend. It was an absolutely amazing experience. I think is a great compliment to yoga which seems to be much more popular in Western countries. The instructors were brilliant and very attentive and I could easily learn the moves they were trying to teach me. I did feel some benefit even after my first class. I liked the way the instructors came around and corrected minor errors in your movement. I really liked the fact the whole class were moving in unison together and it gave a great community feeling. Overall I would recommend this to anybody in their middle ages or above as movement is the miracle cure according to the National Health Service, but it seems like Chinese have known that for years

I have trained under Master Ding for a long time, and feel blessed to have found Tai Chi, him and the training centre. Whether a beginner or advanced student, each person is given what they need at their level and then led to taking the next steps themselves, empowered by the principles of Tai Chi  the senior instructors are accomplished at making beginners feel welcome and encouraged, and the teaching from Master Ding himself is exceptional  There is a strong bond and community between the students, but there is always a sense of allowing the individual to be the individual... if you just want to turn up and train, you're given that space... if you'd like to pop in early and have a cup of tea with other students, you're more than welcome to do that too

An utterly welcoming and inclusive environment for all kinds of Tai Chi lovers be it for health, martial, or cultural purposes. The teaching approach is highly individualised, suitable for both avid and chilled learners. At the beginning of my learning journey, I came to train after work. Just a few months in, I realized I started to deal with stress differently. After a year, I started to appreciate the martial aspect of Tai Chi.  Here, you not only from the teachers but also from the students some of which are also instructors. And we all observe each other's improvement and growth in many ways.  I'd highly recommend anyone who are interested in this piece of art to try out the foundation course and talk to anyone in this community. The conversations I had with the people here still left me in awe from time to time.

I practiced in two other martial arts schools, Qigong for several years and learnt from some masters and instructors before becoming a Master Ding’s Student. I am confident when i say that this is the best school i have ever been, with a terrific community and Master Ding himself is an incredible person, whose power is surpassed only by his kindness and his total commitment to sharing Tai Chi knowledge is unbeleivable.

I am an old/previous student of Master Ding, having practiced Tai Chi with several different teachers over the years. Unequivocally, both the form and practicalities of teaching it at Master Ding Academy were the most accessible and moved me forward with greatest benefit, in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I have been a student of Master Ding since 2011 and during that time I have learned so much through his direct guidance and instruction. Master Ding brings Tai Chi to life as a marital art whist nurturing the concept of still  body / still mind.  If you are looking to find out more about the many benefits that Tai Chi has to offer, I highly recommend the introductory course which is spread over 6 weeks.  It's never too late to start !

I joined Master Ding Academy in 1999 and have learnt so much over the years. Master Ding is a true expert in Tai Chi Chuan/Martial Arts. His energy and passion for the art resonates in every aspect of the Academy. He has produced some of the finest Instructors and Students over the years.  I highly recommend this world class Tai Chi Academy to anyone looking for authentic Yang style Tai Chi Chuan or to Martial Arts Instructors that are looking to deepen their knowledge in the internal arts.

I started studying with Master Ding 25 years ago after waving my arms about with 2 other teachers. The Master Ding Academy offers truly authentic Tai Chi taught by a world master. In every lesson the teaching is detailed, meticulous, intense and good fun. Every teacher in the academy has to continue to train and attend class him/her self, so the message is consistent throughout all the branches. Every lesson is a revelation where the learning is taken to a new level. I have been ‘peeling my onion’ for 25 years now and it hasn’t even begun to run out of layers.
