We went for buffet. Buffet was good they had many options and then on table they served some extra kebabs, naans, butter chicken. We had booked table for 15 so they tried to give special services so that we would dine in again Food: 4/5
AWFUL FOOD & SERVICE!! I vistied yesterday, and when ordering felt very rushed and forced by the waiter on what to order - I asked if they could make the chicken tikka masaala more spicy and instead he pretty much forced/ordered for me to have butter chicken, which i later realised was a more expensive dish! We asked for a jug of water for the table in addition to us ordering paid soft drinks, but were told “we dont offer jugs of water” which was odd. My mixed kebab starter arrived and the food did not taste good at all, worst of all the lamb chop that came with it had no lamb on it, just fat only therefore was unedible clearly them using cheap cuts of meat/ingredients i have included a photo of the lamb chop. After i took a photo of the lamb chop, I noticed the waiter hovering around behind me and he asked if everything was ok, and I told him I wasnt happy with the starter and he very quickly took the plate away and called the manager, the manager offered me another lamb chop but I was already put off at this point and declined and just asked for the cost of it to be taken off my bill at the end. My main finally came after a long wait, and was supposed to be butter chicken - the dish that arrived at the table was far from it and looked and tasted awful! The chicken looked like cheap supermarket produce that you find in the cold meats section and tasted odd, worst of all they had blatantly watered down the sauce as butter chicken is supposed to have a thick and creamy sauce, but the consistency of what I was served was basically runny water which i assume they do to cut costs and make more money, rather than provide quality food you could actually even taste water when i tried the curry and there was no flavour at all. I was not happy eating this and informed the manager that we will just pay for our drinks and leave as I did not feel safe eating the mess that was being served to us. He reluctantly agreed and we walked out. I will never visit this restaurant again, food was disgusting!
went here yesterday and really enjoyed it. the atmosphere was brilliant, the place was beautifully decorated and the staff were so friendly and helpful. the customer service was amazing too. the food was great and plated really nicely, and they also treated us with dessert, tea and some indian specialties which we didn’t expect but loved! blew my expectations away, and we will definitely be returning.
Visited with a large party and was seen to immediately by the friendly and attentive staff. They checked in on us frequently and our delicious food arrived swiftly. Upon finishing our meal we were served complimentary coffee and desserts, and an extra slice of chocolate cake for our friend's birthday. Left with smiles on our faces and full bellies!
This restaurant was utterly amazing. Today it was my birthday and when they had found out they had given us complimentary food, desserts and drinks. They went above and beyond. The food was just amazing and you could tell the effort they had put in it. It would always fill us up and tasted amazing. The service here was the best service in any restaurant and they were very kind and very patient. The decorations for Valentine’s Day were just amazing and the shop always would be clean. Kid-friendliness: Made my birthday feel really special
We came a long way to have food from Jilabi . It’s worth it , Excellent Service , Authentic North Indian style food , delicious Food: 5/5
Ordered for takeaway for the first time. Phone manor and delivery service was fantastic. However, the food was very disappointing. Vegetable samosa were bland and tasted like they were fried in dirty fat. Madras sauce was just heat and lacked flavour. Fried rice very greasy and lumpy. Onion salad, the onions were going brown. Naan tasted ok, bit on the soggy side. Was only given one pot of mint sauce and red sauce to accompany 2x vegetable samosa starters and 2 poppadoms. Most of the food went in the bin, whilst i appreciate i was gone half 10 when ordered, standards should not slip. Nearly £30 in the bin.
Food was amazing but biggest shout out goes to the staff. They were so incredibly friendly and welcoming and polite; more than happy to accomodate a large group of 10. They brought out tea / coffee / brownies. They then found out it was my birthday and were so lovely and sung to me and brought cake and punch. Honestly I think rhe best customer service I've ever received, thank you so much <3
