The meat was perfectly cooked. So delicious. Fries were hot and crispy. I loved the green sauce. They also catered for my food intolerance so thank you so much for that!
went here for a family meal and it was superb. We started with loaded nachos which were really good but served on a sizzler. Just a normal plate or bowl wouldve been better in my opinion. The steaks were very tasty and melted in the mouth. The sauces were all excellent too. fries were good and the mocktails were prob the best ive had. Service was great and food was served at a reasonable pace.
The wings were amazing! For starters! Chicken Parmesan was probably the best I’ve had. No complaints about the service or decor. We went on a Tuesday and we were the only table but soon after few more tables dined in. Only issue was they charge you 3 pounds per can of some fake green cola.i’ll be definitely coming back.
You just can't fault Fargos Does exactly what it says "on the tin" Fresh Food! Quality Ingredients and super chef Zak! The staff are always attentive and always looking to make sure you and your family are well looked after. Very rare for a restaurant to tick all the boxes but they have absolutely demonstrated what good food and flavours are all about and always innovating to change up the menu. They just don't stand still. In addition to this it is reasonably priced. In a world where food prices have increased they have done their best to keep prices affordable and competitive. The steak pictured is coming soon and there will be a Porterhouse option coming soon too. Will be back again...and again and again!
The OG of halal gourmet food in Birmingham, one of the pioneers of bringing a diverse food scene to our city. It is one of those places that doesn’t, or rarely disappoints. I have been here many times with friends and family as it caters for both gatherings. There is ample seating in this restaurant so even during busy times, there isn’t much of a wait time. We normally plan outings around salah times however funnily enough, in the heart of the vibrant halal restaurants, it is one of the very few that has a space for both men and women to pray so even if you visit during salah, you can offer your prayers in tranquility. As a place that has a firm emphasis on food, it’s always refreshing their offerings and changing dishes to keep their menu fresh. Right now my firm favourite is the steak tray which you can choose from lamb, chicken or beef steak, along with two sides and a sauce for a very economical cost of £20. They also offer an extensive mocktail menu so you really are spoilt for choice It is one of the very few restaurants in Birmingham that know how to cook a steak properly, medium rare or rare. Go to any other place and they would look at you weirdly for even suggesting a medium steak let alone know how to make it! One bite of the steak and you can taste the delicious poor cow who sacrificed her life for this moment. I highly recommend this place to anyone for the food. I also hear they might be refurbishing to offer a refreshed Fargo experience. Vegetarian options: A range of vegetarian choices
Like many places in the city it's a nice comfortable place to take family. The staff were polite and helpful and the ambience was great. The food all looked great - fantastic even - and was nice enough but not bursting with flavour. Except the chilli cheese samosas I think they were called which were full of flavour but ironically looked the most bland. For the mains we ordered beef burgers and the nagatron steak kebabish. Most places can do nice chicken burgers and I'm sure fargo's is among them but I wanted to see if they could nail a beef burger. In my experience it's even more rare than finding a decent steak place is a place that does truly flavourful beef burgers. Fargo's wasn't an exception and essentially just hoped the cheese and the sauce and the feat of engineering required to pile everything so high would hide the fact it was tasteless. You can tell they're enthusiastic but they're well wide of the mark. Those burgers need to be charred on the outside and juicy on the inside and seasoned. Also I'm not a fan of building burgers so tall that only a jinn can eat without you needing to dislocate your jaw to eat it. There's no shame in a single pattie that can be eaten by a normal person. If made properly it would be far better than these civil engineering projects that come our way. Less can be more. If I were again I'd probably just stick with a chicken burger. The place 10/10 The staff / customer service 10/10 Food overall 6/10
I had high expectations for this place, a few mates spoke highly of it. The burger i ordered "chili rib steak burger" was missing the avocado and I didn't really like the taste combination. Should have stuck with the classic. The loaded chips were supposed to be Mexican shredded chicken but tasted more like tandoori shredded chicken.. Overall it was editable but not great.

This place is a gem in Birmingham!! Being born in Bradford and now living in Manchester, food joints need to be special to impress me….this definitely impressed me! Honestly this goes straight to my top 5 places I have visited in England not exaggerating. Birmingham is always a hit and miss and mostly all the places are just the same. Fargo’s has a well balanced menu and speaking to the staff they have perfected this in recent times and challenges. It just has something for everyone on the menu and I’m telling you nothing looks bad. The menu is clearly crafted with thought of flavours and balance. This place knows originality in the types of food it wants you to eat and the same time they clearly innovate and introduce flavours that just feel right. Honestly compliments to Fargo’s!! My order below, New York Sirloin Strips.. bonafide steak lovers this is for you Farmo Smoky Chicken… Fargo’s take on the parmo very light compared to others and presentation is great…you will enjoy it…lovely Thaiger Wings….fried to perfection and covered in an addictive sauce Burger spring rolls….C’mon now!! It’s this kind of innovation that you have to applaud Great little game changer!! Of course I am coming back and 100% recommend
We are a family group of 30 people. It was our last night in Birmingham and wanted to end it with a nice family meal. I cant fault this place at all. Will defo be coming back again when in birmingham. Steak was proper steak. Nice cut. They know what a medium rare is..lol I ordered firecracker noodles chicken. New york steak with mash and mushroom sauce. Fargos chips. Oh and a ribeye tray! Only constructive feedback i could give is to add steam veg in the menu side options. Also the parmo garlic cheese wings were oily due to using butter garlic so i would use garlic paste brushed over instead to avoid the oiliness. Overall i would give this experience a solid 9/10 Parking: Very busy street so go early to get a street parking. If not load of nearby street parking walking distance
