I came here today for breakfast with my sister & her fiancé. Our food came pretty quick and we were eager to dig in because it looked nice, but unfortunately it was cold. We did also have a cappuccino, which you can refill yourself, so that was great... and warm.
Nice big typical Wetherspoons, cheap and cheerful. We had a lovely tasty breakfast here can't complain in a nice big spacious pub.
Well, fish and chips and a pint of Leffe because i'm needing a cool drink. The pub was clean and tidy on the inside with plenty of space and a conservatory area up top. orderded food and drinks. Staff were on top with doing the rolls of which they are required. Meals were great, which they are always. would I visit again, sure. Parking is free on Sunday so there's no excuse to not take your friends out in Tamworth.
Unfortunately I'm unable to recommend this place due to the unprofessional and rudeness of the manager. The food was lovely and delivered in a timely manner; although, I ordered a raspberry lemonade which I thought was raspberry lemonade. It was off or just plain disgusting. It was a blend of vinegar with a hint of raspberry. We were told to speak to the manager to change the drink. The manager refused to change it stating that was what I ordered! If you like rude people then enjoy.
Visited for breakfast whilst not busy. Large breakfast was delicious and very good value. Especially like the unlimited tea and coffee offer which at £1.25 is unbeatable - even though I only had time for one! Staff were very welcoming. The only thing I would change perhaps is the bacon which was not quite to my liking but I really appreciate that preparing an English breakfast that everyone will fully enjoy is probably impossible! Highly recommended especially if not busy.
Very busy pub but always find somewhere to sit. If you can get in the beer garden on a sunny day you’ll do well as it can be a lovely sun trap. Even on a sunny November Saturday afternoon it was pleasant to sit out side and there were many others taking advantage. Great beer. Not eaten here so can’t comment. But will come back.
Cheaper good quality beer. Good atmosphere for a night out with the friends. Can be really noisy on Friday and Saturday nights, so if you're looking for a quite drink over a chat, go on a quieter night. All in all, a lovely place for good beer and some awesome coffee.
We went on a bit of a whim, on a Saturday afternoon and we were pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent all round, including the bar, the waiting on and the table service. Would highly recommend. The food was really good and excellent value for money.
It's been a while since I used this Spoons. Pleasant service and a clean interior Takeaway coffee for under a £1! Much better value for money than the High Street coffee brands. No alcohol on this visit, but may pop back.
