We visited for a birthday meal while we where in the area, all had a carvery and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cheesecake for dessert was absolutely gorgeous very light and flavoursome. Staff where friendly and attentive we where 40 minutes early to our booking but they seated us anyway which was incredibly kind as the restaurant was incredibly busy with it being a Sunday afternoon.
Full carvery. What else can I say. Ordered a couple of Sunday large size. a true family tradition and kids meals. Plenty of meat and fresh veg. Cleaned my plate. Afterward went to garden to let the kids have a play.
Lovely Sunday carvery! Bar staff lovely and friendly and very welcoming. Nice choice of beers on draught and nice selection of wines. Food was tasty and set out nicely. It was getting busy so booking might be advisable. Plenty of parking across the road and would be easy for wheelchair access.
Went for afternoon tea for the queen's jubilee and it was brilliant. Good selection of food and cakes and the service from Sherlene and Caz was amazing. Will definitely be booking in for the next event!
Food was spot on .service was good from the get go .the beef was 1 of the nicest I've had from any carvery really tender .will be back next time I'm in Tamworth
We pulled up to find a massive car park. Pub looked a little aged if im honest. Staff were very helpful and polite. The food was the best value for money I could think of. I'm definitely planning another visit.
Glad to see this large pub and restaurant with impressive beer garden open. Positives: Good service; large menu; large beer garden. Not so positive was the 61 Deep craft beer. In fairness, a member of the team topped it up because it went flat too quickly. May return and try the breakfast.
We were a party of 10 on a Sunday 1 to 3. The staff were helpful and courteous . Food was very good, serving area was clean and chef was great. The area where the gravy and sauces was very clean. Overall it topped a very good afternoon for us all and would thoroughly recommend
The carvery was average but we waited 55 minutes for a pizza as they priorities just eat deliveries first. We ordered 6 chicken nuggets and after 50 minutes they came out with only 4, instead of bringing extra out they took the plate away to make more. We cancelled the order for which the staff were very apologetic for. A refund for the nuggets was given with plenty of apologies. Staff were lovely I think the work load was to much vs available staff.
Went for an awesome carvery dinner here yesterday and it was my first time visiting in around 10 years. The food was amazing, staff were very friendly which definitely adds to the experience. They also welcomed the family dog in with us aswell and I just couldn't fault the service we've received. The price's are also fair for what you get in my opinion. Keep up the good work guys and I look forward to visiting again later in the year
