Great place to stay in Fishguard. Steve is a really sound host, nice private rooms with plenty of space. Recommended.

Fantastic place, wonderful owner, Steve. He went above and beyond his duty and spent time chatting, listening and giving advice & directions. Very reasonable prices indeed. Will always be fair, can tell this place is from the heart.

We are a family of 7 that spent 6 nights at the James John Hamilton House. I cannot describe how happy we were with the experience. The house features a massively large living-room, comfortable furniture and bathrooms for everyone. We also enjoyed the big screen T.V, smaller televisions in every bedroom and Netflix! The town of Fishguard is also a delight. Everyone is wonderfully friendly and helpful. There are a host of great restaurants and an equally impressive number of quaint and quality pubs. Best of all--there is Steve! Steve has to be one of the nicest and kindest people I have ever met. He arranged to pick us up from the train station, renting a Taxi (he payed for it himself and refused to accept any re-payment) and driving his own car to carry our luggage. He also volunteered to help shuttle us back to the station when our stay ended. Steve provides a super accommodation at a very reasonable price. This coupled with his amazing customer service (He will pretty much do anything for you) and friendliness made our stay at the James John Hamilton House the best vacation we have ever had.

This place is quaint, cozy and very organised. Free basic breakfast is a plus. Steve is a cool guy with lots of stories to tell. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful home! We had a fabulous time staying at the James John Hamilton school house! The owner Stephen treated us like family!
