I stopped for the night while on my way northwards. Location is perfect. 250m away from the train station and the bus stop for busses northwards to Cardigan, Aberystwyth etc is on the opposite side of the road.nThere are enough shops, restaurants and bars in the area to eat in the evening and the bay is also a walk away. For more sporty people it is also possible to walk to Fishguard, its just a straight line and up the hillnWifi and tea included in the room and breakfast in the morning
Here’s the full location really helpful and friendly. Ended up in a bit of a fix as Uber doesn’t operate in Goodwick so they called a local cab for my friend and I and we managed to get to the church on time to see our friends get married! It was like something off of four weddings and a funeral!
We stayed here after a long-arse journey from Rosslare. Bernard was great as was his hospitality! Love the little ducks, nice touch. Came highly recommended by a Stena Line steward and this hotel did not disappoint. Thank you Bernard so much for being a great host!
I stayed in Room 9, this room has what i would class as a child's bed squeezed in. My head was on the window sill while feet crammed in. I would have been more comfortable if i had slept in the car. There is a very low beam in the room that's not highlighted so mind your head. The toilet seat dose not fit, TV screen is smaller than my desk screen. The corridor smells of smoke. When i went to check out at 7.30am the person on duty was just sat there smoking in the bar area. i thought you had a smoking ban in Wales.
Great authentic Welsh pub. Great choice of beers, real local vibe. Bernard and the staff our extremely helpful, efficient and take the time to talk with the customers. Extremely unique mural in the men’s toilet.
