One of the worst Chinese meals I’ve had for a long time. Firstly it took nearly 2 hours to get to us. The food was swimming in grease, I had to spoon it out! Just on the mushroom curry nearly 7 tablespoons of grease. And they need to change the oil they use because it tastes old. Then £4 odd for 3 ribs. That’s shocking. I honestly don’t know how they stay in business when there are better Chinese takeaways very close by. NEVER AGAIN.
Very disappointing, we will not be returning. So much food has gone to waste because it is substandard. The shredded chilli beef was dry and bland. The beef and green pepper in black bean sauce wasn't very good at all, the meat tasted of nothing and the dish was full of mixed vegetables carrot, onion, water chestnut. The only positive comment that I can make is that the food was hot but that didn't make up for the taste unfortunately.
Shocking ordered food at 6.10pm and got there for half past, to finally sit there for 40 mins - while sat there one person walked in ordered and got there food others walked straight in and got theirs however I walked out after an hour from order point. Ended up at Fryday where I walked in ordered and was out within 3 minutes!!! Not the first time this has happened !!! The guy on the front wasn’t even bothered. On the backing of the response by the owner, new people will explain the noise that was coming from the kitchen each time the man on the front went into the back- did seem very chaotic back there! One women in particular very vocal.
Always good. Always on time. The best crispy chilli beef in Lincoln. No complaints from me.
We get dinner from here most Saturdays, always the same dishes, usually very good indeed, but tonight our mixed balls were terrible - some just empty husks, some been left in too long and contents tough, hardly any prawn ones again. It's normally great here so give them another chance, but really disappointed tonight EDIT: Jade Garden took the trouble to contact me today to apologise for the disappointing dish last night and to offer to replace it next time we go. It's really good to think they care enough to track down the order and reach out to the customers - well done!

Ordered for the first time from Jade Garden off the new vegan menu tonight and we were amazed. The meat replacements for chicken, beef and prawn were surprisingly good, the textures and flavors were well done and we'll be swapping to these guys as our regular if the vegan menu continues.
Customary annual tryout of the local Chinese and unfortunately I still won't be a regular. Cash only! Pah hiding something. Food was kinda like some Chinese food I have had in the past but not like the good stuff.. Real shame as I do like to shop local. Ah well back to
Disappointing Not having had a Chinese takeaway for a while, we didn’t want to cook in the heatwave we decided to order from the Jade Garden. In the past we have had brilliant food from this restaurant but today it was different. The spare ribs were tiny compared with previous offerings although they were tasty. The prawn crackers seemed to be a mixture of yesterday’s and today’s as some of them were not crispy, they were slightly soft and chewy. The special fried rice didn’t taste as expected as it was bland and seemed to be just boiled with other ingredients put into it. The rest of the meal was OK but not up to the standard l have previously had from the Jade Garden. Unfortunately this experience means that I will not be ordering from the Jade Garden in the foreseeable future until we are satisfied there has been enough time elapsed to risk giving the restaurant another try.
Fantastic as usual! We had a lot of different Chinese takeaways since moving to Lincoln but this one must be our favourite. Food taste amazing! Portions are great! Service are superb! We will only use Jade garden only from now on... I respect other people reviews but if anyone thinks that the meat is chewy from this takeaway I seriously suggest a dental check! : Delivery time is always superb but we understand if is delayed because the food is ALWAYS SUPERB!
