I sat in the restaurant area. It is small and could fit at 6-7 people from what I could see. Despite its size, it had lovely atmosphere and was incredibly clean.  The service was polite and personal. This may have been because I was the only one sat.  The food hit a high standard and everything looked fresh. The fries were clearly different to normal takeaway fish and chip shops. In a good way though.  All condiments provided with decent utensils. Definitely go here for a quite high class fish and chips.  Don't bring too many people though.

Great service and great meal. The shop is however small so waiting outside is something that will happen. There is a a rat in option but on this occasion we did not use. There is disabled access to the take away area. Also great jokes on there outside boards kept my little one amused till lunch was ready.

Best chips by far.  Traveled all the way from Manchester for scampi and chips.  From Lincoln originally   really clean. Good service.  Used to visit here being a kid.  Great to cone back. Happy memories with family.  Parking: Parking a 5 minute walk.

I travelled up from London for work and popped in here. I can honestly say it's some of the best fish and chips I've had in a very long time. Non gressy and perfect size crispy chips. Fish was fresh  Was going to get takeaway, but they mentioned they have a restaurant, which was a nice quaint quiet getaway sitting upstairs away from it all.  All on all, very enjoyable, great prices. Will definitely visit again.

Beautiful fish and chips, lovely staff, could do with a spring on the outside door as it's cold downstairs when people decide not to shut the door behind them.Food: 5/5

Lovely chip shop, very old apparently, like step back in time, great little seating areas upstairs and down. Good food chips very fresh not at all greasy. Not overpriced either.

THE BEST CHIPPY IN LINCOLN BY FAR... Thats what I think to the sign of the fish. It's only small but  I can't resist popping in for a tray of chips everytime   I go shopping The smell as I walk past just draws me in. Yumski

Usually nip in once a fortnight or so  for a cone of chips for a lunchtime treat. Today I had their fish for the first time in my many years living here and honestly it was the best battered fish I've ever had. Blumming delicious.

Not flashy but as traditional as it gets great fish and chips good prices see below. In my top 10 Fish and Chip shops. Make sure you head though the ally to the back door and sit down upstairs near the window. Back again. And again have to add something prices have risen a bit now £8 for fish chips and peas quality and portions still good.
