Our favourite Chinese takeaway since we've lived in the Tufnell Park area 7 years. Lovely flavours, fresh cooked in front of you or delivered and very friendly staff. It's not healthy - but then that's why it tastes so good. Their veg spring rolls are massive and lovely - especially recommend them! Looks pretty worn and unprepossessing from the outside so many people wander past it to the other Chinese stylish but not as good but this is a diamond in the rough.
The place looks fairly unprepossessing from the outside, the interior is pretty shabby, and to be honest I'd considered it a few times then thought better of it as a result of peering through the window. Eventually though I did give it a try and am glad I did - the staff were very nice, the food very reasonably priced main courses around £4 or £5 and although predictably erring on the side of the unhealthy quite salty, quite oily it was actually quite tasty and there were a decent number of vegetarian options, including ones involving fried tofu and mock duck.
My favourite Chinese take away! In fact, all my neighbours also order from Jack's! So friendly, and food is tasty, fresh, fast delivery, great portion sizes, best Chinese in the area!
One of the best chinese in North London...... Giving review is like cheating, because I practically order my breakfast, lunch and dinner here everyday loooool.
Much more authentic than Tufnell Park's other Chinese takeaway which I have to walk past to get to Jack's!
Been there numerous times. The food is very tasty, staff very friendly, decor charming and value & quality guaranteed.
Very good service, eat in or take-away I consider this to be one of my favourites.

Was not happy with this food at all chicken was raw in the middle ribs were like they had been sitting there a week crackers were stale did not enjoy this at all
