Food was ok but the proportion was slightly less and the price was a bit high compared to other Chinese restaurants nearby.
When I first went to Sun Hin I really enjoyed it and thought the food was better than most Chinese takeaways. I was hoping it would become a favourite in Kentish Town. However, I've been back twice since and both times they got my order wrong. Disappointing.
Ordered vegetarian shredded chicken chow mein, vegetarian sweet and sour chicken hong king style, curry sauce and crackers. Absolutely delicious. Not known a lot of Chinese takeaways to do good vegetarian alternatives. Well impressed with this. Food was delicious, made it super quick. Only wish they did delivery. I can highly recommend! 5*
Best beef and blackbean and egg fried rice I've had anywhere. The beef is nice and soft chicken in black bean is good as well. Ha e really eaten much apart from these but their sooooo good I need not order anything else
Sun Hin is an excellent Chinese takeaway - probably the best in the area, in my opinion. Soups are tasty and dishes others serve lazily, such as salt and pepper chicken, are well seasoned, full of flavour and most importantly, not dry. The food is fairly priced for the quality on offer and I’d highly recommend if you’re in need of a good local takeaway - or if just passing by.
Good selection of vegetarian dishes using soy based mock meats - "lamb" and "chicken" in various sauces. Always very quickly prepared. It's very cheap, but if anything possibly a bit too cheap. Would like it if there were a few more healthier options on the menu - more fresh green vegetables in lighter less salty sauces. Would happily pay more for some healthier options!
Good standard Chinese takeaways. The food might be slightly tailored to Western expectations but otherwise ok. The soups and beef ho fun noodles with black bean sauce were both very tasty.
First time eating the food. Chicken balls too doughy, too sweet and not enough meat. Portions too small for the price. Would prefer if the food was cooked fresh, it did taste microwaveable
Been visiting this place for over 30 years from when it was called Sun Do. As Chinese takeaways go this one is consistently of a good standard. Prices are average and service is good. Try the chips and BBQ sauce ;-
Amazing Chinese takeaway. The food has always been delicious we have it every week. Prices are really reasonable and the service is good and quick. A local favourite.
