Don’t really understand the poor reviews. I ate in, both the lamb doner and the chicken doner were tasty and premium. The food quality was high and the large portion was generous. The staff were helpful and engaged. Well worth a trip and really puts those run of a mill kebab shops to shame.
The staff gave me the wrong change. Short by a couple of quid. The mix up was they gave someone else my change. That person had to give me two pounds from their pocket. Then the staff were just rude about the mix up. When I was looking confused about all this, they said I look like I've got no clue what's going on. But actually, they did not explain carefully or patiently what had happened, nor were they apologetic in any way. I found that experience quite unkind and unfriendly. It's like they were in a big hurry and annoyed with me for wasting their time, but the place wasn't busy at all. The food was pretty good, but I'd appreciate more patience and politeness, so sorry I won't be going back.
Best kebab shop in archway. Ali is amazing with his customers. Always has a laugh and a makes you happy. Iv never had a problem here in over 12 years Wheelchair accessibility: Has wheelchair access.

hello, my name is Edward Yates and i am a self representative "food critic". I like to think me and my partner they/them look for the best in most things but sadly she was as unable to find the best in archway kebab as she is in our private life. the food was slightly sloppy and tasted peculiar. My partner felt as though she had spent all the money for nothing. ultimately, the food gave us minor love them stomach issues, and i still refused to let her in to use the toilet. overall, i was as disappointed in Archway Kebab as Albert was in his mother when she received her yearly £1.50 pay from work in islington.
I tried the doner with the minimum of sauce so that I could get a good taste of the meat. Very nice & tasty kebab, advantage of sitting in helps as doner is best eaten hot.
My girlfriend and I have Been here a few times now .Hands down the best kebab shop on the road. Ofcourse, portion sizes across the road are outrageous in comparison. But the quality of the products sold here are far more superior. As a butcher, I can find fault with meat in most establishments. But I’m very understanding of markups and what it takes for a business to survive in such troubling times. I can’t see what short cuts they take in their meat. Absolutely outstanding. Went over the reviews. Pitty 4 out of 6 complaints are confirmed Uber eats or Deliveroo orders. Honestly, go in, meet the lads behind the counter. Always a great experience and most importantly, a good belly the next morning. Thank you guys and don’t let the keyboard warriors ruin your good work.

To all the moaners complaining about portion sizes etc then why don't you go buy your own lamb spices and spit stack it up and slice it at home yourselves? It's rare to find a kebab shop owner that makes there Donner in house with quality meat and that's why I regularly visit this place! If your after a doner kebab which is what this place specialises in then look no further it's freshly made and the salad is always fresh. Get the garlic and chilli sauce mixed and make sure to order the chips well done as they tend to sometimes want to give the chips out fast and neglect the chips but overall this is a top tier Donner
