Can't get an appointment for my passport. Have been trying more then four months. Never get any answer when I call them. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVIE!!!
Had to wait in the queue for 4hrs just to get my passport renewed which only took about 5-6 minutes inside!! Awful experience, I don’t recommend this experience to other people!!
Awful. Impossible to contact, being trying since 5 months to get an appointment and finally got one in 3 month time!!!!!
Good service. Managed to book an appointment in may after a mistake I made I made with my passport application in April. When I arrived in may a lady was out to great the incoming enquiries, she checked all my relevant documents to make sure it was all correct. Didn't have to wait too long. Once inside. Very professional and polite service. I received my passport renewal after approx 6 weeks later.
Impossible to get through to anyone or to make an appointment. The service is appalling.
I highly recommend Birmingham consulate, friendly and polite citizens.I applaud you for the fast process. It only took less than 2 hours to get our children's passport sorted.
Worst experience ever, had to wait in the queue for 8 hours just to renew my children's passport which only took about 10-15 minutes inside! In addition to the endless waiting, the passport will be available in 4 months only...just for a piece of paper... OMG! Awful experience, I don’t recommend this to anyone.
They should work on their website and update us on anything we should bring in the office! I've been sent back home 2 times because of something they needed. I had to wait for 2 good hours in a rough weather with a baby! Things need to get sorted.
I’m so appalled. Trying to renew my mother’s passport who is in her 60’s. On the phone they say we have to wait till the 10th of the month at 8pm. Login to make an appointment at 8 and no days available at all at exactly 8pm how is that possible. Why do even bother opening you don’t want to help Italian citizens get their passport. Even travelled 3 hours to London to wait in the queue for 2 hours only to be turned away because we don’t have an appointment. Clearly you don’t want to work or even help people because you can’t be bothered I’m so disgusted. What an awful service!!!
Devo rinnovare il mio passport e l'unico modo per registrarsi e' una volta al mese il 10 di ogni mese alle 20.00! Considerando che Birmingham e' la seconda citta' piu' grande in UK con migliaia di Italiani che vivono qua! Mi sembra un po' poco!! Comunque, per 2 mesi ho cercato di collegarmi e prendere un appuntamento senza esito! Ho messo i miei dettagli a sistema e quando ho premuto conferma, ricevo un errore message "l'ora e' gia presa!" Ho provato ad andare al consolato di Manchester per sentirmi dire che non sono autorizzato perche' vivo a Birmingham!!! Ma come si fa?! Vergogna! I've been trying to book an appointment for 2 months now to renew my passport. My passport will expire soon and this will be BIG problem. On the 10th at 8pm this is the only day and time to book an appointment online. Anyway, I managed to get through to the page where the open dates are listed. I entered all my detail correctly, just to be told that the format of my date of birth was incorrect. I checked, and it was in fact right: DD/MM/YYYY. I entered it again anyway and again it told me that it was wrong. Except this time there was another message: the day I had chosen was now fully booked and no longer available. Not happy, I moved on to the next available date, and the exact same thing happened. Bear in mind all this took place between 20.00 and 20.04. Four minutes it what it took to allegedly fill a moth's worth of appointments. So, yet again, I wasn't able to book an appointment. And I have to wait another month for trying again!! Then phoned the Vice-Consolato Onorario d'Italia a Birmingham and of course there is no answer, followed by the usual wretched recorded message and no chance to leave a voicemail. What is one supposed to do to get a passport renewed that really soon will expire? I tried to book an appointment to the Manchester Embassy and I've been told that I am not allowed because I live in Birmingham! SERIOUSLY???! . Something has to be done because this is clearly not working.
