During this long period I have been bureaucratically involved with many Greek services tax office, consulates, DOATAP, etc.. Although my experience with the London consulate is mixed, I can confidently say that the Birmingham Consulate is by far the best experience I've had along with the Geneva Consulate. Immediate service, almost without an appointment due to the urgent nature of the matter I called in the morning and they accepted me in the evening. In particular, my thanks go to Mr. N. Batis current consul to Mrs. I. Lianou former consul who helped me in the past. and to Mr. X. Filippidis former consul, who although retired continues to help and participate actively. A real offer to the Greek diaspora in Great Britain. I wish all public officials in Greece and abroad would try to make the lives of citizens as easy as the people at the Consulate.  Original Διαμένω στο εξωτερικό από το 2009 σε δύο διαφορετικές χώρες. Κατά την διάρκεια αυτής της μακράς περιόδου έχω εμπλακεί γραφειοκρατικά με πολλές ελληνικές υπηρεσίες εφορία, προξενεία, ΔΟΑΤΑΠ, κτλ. Άμεση εξυπηρέτηση, σχεδόν χωρίς ραντεβού λόγω της επείγουσας φύσης του θέματος τηλεφώνησα το πρωί και το βράδυ με δέχτηκαν. Συγκεκριμένα οι ευχαριστίες μου πηγαίνουν στον κο Ν. Μπάτη τωρινός πρόξενος στην κα Ι. Λιανού  τέως πρόξενος η οποία με βοήθησε στο παρελθόν. και στο κύριο Χ. Φιλιππίδη πρώην πρόξενος, ο οποίος αν και συνταξιούχος συνεχίζει να βοηθάει και να συμμετέχει ενεργά. Πραγματική προσφορά στην ελληνική ομογένεια της Μ. Βρετανίας. Μακάρι όλοι οι δημόσιοι λειτουργοί σε Ελλάδα κι εξωτερικό να προσπαθούσαν να κάνουν την ζωή των πολιτών εύκολη όπως οι άνθρωποι του Προξενείου.
