Food quality is always amazing. Down marked because the Doner Kebab serving sizes seem to be drastically reducing in the last month. Usually a standard portion but the last 2 I had barely filled the pitta. Dont look at the image and think it looks plenty. The Doner you see is all we got. The Pitta was jammed full of cabbage. First time a mistake maybe, second time points to tighter portion controls. Real shame as they're not the cheapest to start with
This must have been taken over as the fish and chips have always been great, however, just brought some more tonight and they were the worst I have ever had. They were dry, old, chips over cooked and burnt on the edges. The fish batter was dry and old too. Definitely won’t be going back, need to find a new chippy!
Tonight I had the home made chicken curry and chip, I asked for it to be made hotter, which the lady serving said it was hot, I said I’d take my chances, she came back saying it was going to be hot, it was warm but bloody lovely. Sorry can’t add a photo as it didn’t last long enough. Will definitely ask for that again

Used to be the best chippie in Sheffield by far but now forget it. Way way way over priced and the portions are very small you don't mind paying too much if you get value for money but shocking. The star are soso but there is a lady there with like silver coloured hair in a pony tail is brilliant. But dare say won't be there long as he CAN'T keep his staff dint no why but there's different staff every month. Pity but won't be going there again anytime soon....
I have had multiple bad experiences in a row here. It's a real shame as I used to love this chippy. However recently the food has been really hit and miss. I would have still been a regular customer though had it not been for the disappointing and rude customer service myself and my family have received. I appreciate you must encounter bad customers, however I would advise on taking your frustrations out on them, and not on decent people who just fancied a treat. I will be taking my custom elsewhere from now on.
Absolutely horrendous service when me and mum called in earlier this evening. The woman working behind the counter older woman with very short hair we were asked what we wanted in a very rude manner. When we asked for fish bites we were given a dirty look and she rudely said.. you would order those wouldn't you because I have to cook them to order. My mum was left feeling uncomfortable so ended up not having anything to eat.. the rest of the food was very poor compared to the usual and after the attitude of your staff you've lost a family of regular customers who have been coming to you for years. My advice would be to try richmond fisheries! It's so much better and the staff are friendly.

Good food, always looks very clean
Disappointed with the Fish and Chips, both chips and fish must have been cooked a while ago threw most of it away. Don't know if they have changed cooks but in the past would have rated this chippy.
