The food is completely inedible. Not hot, not even cooked. Straight in the bin. The place smells bad too, we should have known better as soon as we walked in. Oh, and they overcharged us. Tried to get a refund, the staff were not helpful.
I didn't like the fries they are black and smelly and for two fish chips £19 not worth
Very bad service, if they could even give a customer eye contact and speak it would help.. greasy over cooked food. And the staff been stood outside combing each others egos prior, and after my mistake to go there in the first place… probably indicates why they have such bad reviews. I would rather walk the length of Sheffield then eat anything from there every again! Shame as it used to be good food after a night out.
Avoid. Avoid. Avoid !!! Worst chippy I have ever been to. The lady was busy on her phone had no time for customers. I ordered a medium fish and chips. The lady gave me a small!! The chips was very dry and hard like stone !! The fish was terrible, and non-existent with the batter also hard and dry as if it was cooked days before.. food tasted absolutely terrible, and everything was cold. I will not be coming again.
Omg I cannot believe what I have just eaten. Just had a meal between 6 of us. Every meal different and completely inedible. Chicken awful and dry. Chips anaemic, peas radioactive but tasteless, curry sauce weaker than piss. Truly awful experience ruined my friends birthdayFood: 1/5
I've had a decent meal from here before but this time really was the pits. batter and chips tasted like they'd been washed in fairy liquid. Plus the two thick hairs one in the fish and one in the chips. The battered one doesn't even though human. It's thick like a dog's hair. Will be reporting.
Might actually be the worst chippy I've ever been to. Went on my lunch break to quickly get a bite to eat. Fish was rock solid and more like jerky, as the batter was to thin and the fish overcooked. Chips were dripping in grease and the peas were just watery and tasteless. Pretty disappointed to be honest
Looked okay, honestly tasted terrible. Batter on sausage tasted odd, chips felt hard, the gravy actually tasted DISGUSTING, like soap/dish water? Only thing edible were the peas frankly. This place has never been amazing but it has just gotten worse and worse. Owner needs get a grip or this place isn’t going to last much longer based on my food. Oh, and the portion sizes here compared to literally every other chip shop on the planet are disgraceful. £7.50 not including delivery for peas, chips sausage and gravy and a can and it is honestly tiny.
Worst takeaway I’ve ever had, pie was rock hard with potential mold on it and 2 of the 3 meals was missing. Unhelpful staff who ignored my request for the remaining of my foodFood: 1/5
The food was cold no salad on the kebab no sauce on very dry tried to call kept putting the phone down very poor service won't be ordering again from them very rude wouldn't listen to what I had to say.Food: 1/5
