Only second time visiting the fish shop as I have to travel to get here. It was quiet and after talking to the owner he said January is always a quiet time. They cook fish to order at these quiet times which is understandable but at least you know it's cooked fresh. Very tasty fish and chips will call again.Food: 4/5
Not our first visit and will not be our last. Good food at good prices. PROPER CHIPS not fries. The scampi was very nice, very filling... loads of food. Everything was piping hot and fresh. Can not fault this place..... we will be backFood: 5/5
Chips & fishcakes covered in thick yellow grease, left awful aftertaste. Batter too thick & hard on fishcake with very little fish or potato inside. Used to be a nice chip shop, not anymore, won't be re-visting. Not surprised there was no one in.
Saw the cook verbally abuse a woman in the shop in front of the customers. Disgusting behaviour and a disgusting man - never eating there again.

Disgusting and disrespectful customer service from the man who works behind the counter on Thursdays - swearing at customers whilst children in the shop - I will never put foot in there again
Don't bother. Cod was all batter and the bit of fish that was there was awful. Used to be a good chippy, will never go back. Worst fish and chips we have had for a while.
Can only give one star for being closed on a Monday lunchtime not good enough
Tried instead of my closest chippy and don't regret it, fresh, tasty chips and the batter on the fish wasn't overbearing like my usual chippy, was crispy and just right
