At Indian Night, an award-winning restaurant in Chelmsford, we serve an exciting high quality range of Asian cuisine in a warm, stylish and environment. Our new venue is a cut above the rest. Working closely with top designers we’ve create the perfect decor and design combining an outstanding blend of English, Indian and Arabian features to create a wonderful atmosphere.

In October our chef, Touris Miah was named “Curry Chef of the Year” at the Curry Life Awards 2013.

You will see that we’ve chosen the legendary Taj Mahal as our logo, which was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz as a symbol of his love for her.

At Indian Night, we aim to impress from the start. At the grand entrance to our restaurant is a beautiful statue of an Indian elephant (water fountain) which one of our customers helped us name “Widford”, in tribute to our restaurant’s location. Upon arrival you will be greeted by our team of experience, friendly staff who will give you a true taste of India.

Inside we have a traditional English drinks bar to complement our unique, authentic, mouth-watering Indian dishes, all freshly prepared by our award-winning chefs.

Just for you, we’ve also created a luxury open air Arabian theme complete with exotic palm trees and beautiful coloured lights which offer a glimpse into paradise from the road into Chelmsford.

Inside, we also afford you the ultimate indulgence, a shisha bar, which you will be able to enjoy with our new Arabian menu, which is under development.

Our mission is to give the people Chelmsford, and surrounding areas, the same great cuisine, service andultimate satisfaction that we have been providing at our restaurants in Braintree, Balti Night, in Manor Street, and Merchant Spice, in Fairfield Road, for the last 20 years. Both have achieved a tremendous amount of popularity and won many awards, both locally and nationally.
