Best Accommodation in Town! Lived here for 2 Years, what a Wonderful experience I had and the staff is really chill and amazing. Abdi, Matt, Beth and Lucy were the best. It has the Best Views of the city everyday you see something new. They have monthly events which are fun, I highly recommend to anybody who is studying in Liverpool, move in here its the best.
Lovely modern accommodation during university! The building has great facilities like the gym and the cinema. The reception and cleaning staff have all been really nice and welcoming! Thank you for making me feel at home everyone ! :
Choosing to live somewhere such as The Ascent, by IconInc is truly the best decision a student in the UK can make. If you choose to live, in a private apartment with no concierge. You will have no option but to spend a large amount of time and money dealing with: organising your utility bills, liaising with an estate agent, finding housemates, organising accommodation taxes, living in close proximity to people you don't know in a potentially unsafe area, moving your belongings in to the apartment alone, and importantly, it's likely you will have to work harder to find social interaction, which is crucial for feeling happy in a new city. Students need to feel happy, because when we're happy, we can do our best work, and achieve our best grades, to begin our careers. If you live somewhere like IconInc, everything above and more is taken care of for us. After comparing other accommodations in Liverpool, listening to my friend's experience of other places, and having now lived in IconInc for 4 months - It is crystal clear that IconInc deliver the best standard of this experience in Liverpool. On a final note, I would like to highlight a particular member of staff, Libby, who goes above and beyond for tenants in the building. Having staff members who help with anything within reason, is what takes the Ascent to the next level for student living experience. 11/10. *Photos - my "Elegance" room.
I have lived at IconInc for the past 3 years and cannot think of a better place I could have chosen to enjoy my University experience. Not only does it have amazing facilities and weekly organised activities to bring the students together, but the staff are so friendly and accommodating and have made my stay here so much more enjoyable. I couldn't recommend IconInc enough, and will treasure all the experiences and life-long friends I have made here!
The rooms are nice but the ambassador programme is a bit of a scam. They get you to do a lot of free work for them offering next to nothing in return. Some of the staff also aren’t very friendly, Beth very clearly didn’t like international students and other staff were very stuck-up and would gossip about tenants. Some staff would show favouritism to certain tenants which would gain them privileges. Certain events would also get cancelled with little to no notice. Made some really good friends there and the social aspect of things was pretty good but all in all, everything could all be organised a bit better and for the cost being on the higher end of student accommodations, staff should be a lot more professional.
This accommodation is unbelievable. The staff are amazing and supportive. The assistant manager Beth in particular helped me when times were difficult with advice and support and overall made me feel more like family than a tenant. The facilities are always clean and there is a variety of communal areas to enjoy including the steam and sauna room! Thank you for making my experience in liverpool memorable.
This accommodation is by far the best student accommodation in Liverpool! All of the staff are so friendly and put the well-being of their tenants before anything else. Would highly recommend living here if you want to feel safe and cared for.
The staff at Iconinc are soo friendly and a pleasure to be around. The events and breakfast provided is amazing and the facilities are no comparison to any other accommodations I’ve stayed in. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for accommodation that is situated in the heart of Liverpool and has all your needs a stone throw away. Worth every penny!
In my opinion, The Ascent is one of, if not the best student accommodation in Liverpool. Every area is spotlessly cleaned daily, all the staff are extremely friendly, the facilities all have use and are enjoyable. When you look at the details behind the design of this place, you can really understand that so much more went into here than just cost-cutting and profit making decisions like many other accommodations. I would have definitely booked for the next year, however the prices rose by 30% and I wanted to switch my room. If you can find a room at a decent rate, book this immediately and don't think twice. Also I would advise people to choose a room located at the back or the side, as the Front receives no direct sunlight.
A terrible and problematic student accommodation. Elevators break down frequently, poor soundproofing and you can hear other rooms having parties and music turned up to max noise every day. Staying in this student apartment, you can experience the loud noise of the bar downstairs from 2:00 to 5:00 in the morning. Terrible public laundry facilities, often with disgusting dirt from people who may have washed their shoes. These despairing problems overshadow some of the apartment's virtues. My advice is if you are an insomniac this will make your sleep even worse. Just to remind, a staff member named “Bath” at the front desk is not very patient and has a perfunctory attitude. She could be a racist.
