Our hot dogs were absolutely fabulous and came so quickly. They didn't serve us the sweet potato fries at the same time as the hot dogs and they wanted to give us £3 back! Just for this gesture they deserve 5 stars. Customer service is spot on! Will definitely go back and try many other hot dogs. Looking at you veggie!
Hot dogs were very good, even better than some I can get here in the States. Guy behind the counter was very friendly and was very patient with 2 very hungry and very jet lagged Americans. These weren't American style hot dogs, but seemed more like British sausages. We had no problem with that, tasted just fine even if a little different. Sticker shock set in afterward when I realized that I paid almost $25 for hot dogs. But the food was good so there.
Was pleasantly surprised at the menu choices given this is a hot dog establishment. Compared to the standard American drab, this was a much more polished, thought out affair. There are several menu choices all of which come with a variety of different sauces, herb, Condiment and vegetable selection with the hot dog. To my surprise a Vegetarian hot dog consisted of a boiled carrot in a hot dog bun! Together with the condiments, to my surprise actually tasted OK. Certainly not at the top of my list, but it was OK. Provided you eat beef or pork I would recommend giving this leave a try.
The best hot dog place ever! You get to choose between a lot of toppings and they are all freshly made, my friend is vegan and she could find a veggie option that I find so creative and delicious! The staff was amazing, really polite and full of smiles! We'll come back for sure!
Fries were nice with a large portion. Hotdog however was seriously lacking flavour. The sausage itself was rather small and did not have any form of a meat taste or texture, and this made a lovely bun with generous topping and sauce seem pretty much bad.
I went to Hungerdog with some friends and all of us loved it! atmosphere and team are so nice and lovely, and obviously the hotdogs are amazing: they have two types of meat dogs, veggie options, salads and the hamburgers are so tasty! they also have desserts, strongly adviced is the homemade lemon cheesecake! we'll come back for sure!
Bread was nice and fresh. Lovely. More like a sausage then a hotdog, suppose to be chargrill but I never tasted it. The toppings are diverse. To much topping over shadowed the meat which lacked flavour. I ended up scrapping it of. Should have stuck to a normal hotdog reallt you cant go wrong ktih onions and ketchup. But the presentation of the food was like in pictures very nicely done. Chips were cooked to order. Didn't taste like cheap frozen ones nice and crispy. Probably was frozen i don't know but definitely tasty.
I must have gone on a bad day based on the other reviews because I was very excited about having this place close to me but I was very disappointed with the hot dog. Too much bread for the size of the sausage. Tried the pork and beef option, both of which lacked flavour. The bun was verging on stall and as a result split in the middle making for a very undignified and messy experience. I am reluctant to ever try again which is a shame. On a plus, the sweet potato fires were ok. If you want a proper hot dog, go down the road to Big Apple Hot Dogs outside Euston Station, more than double the meat, very tatsy and only an extra £1.
Heard a lot about this place and had meant to get there sooner. Popped in for lunch and had a 'Liberty' hotdog with sauerkraut and toppings with a beef sausage. You get a choice of meat. there's plenty of dishes on the menu and you can make your own as well. They've got salads and fries to choose from if you want something extra or if you don't feel like a hotdog. On the wall it tells you about their bread and meat and I can believe the things they say as the hotdog tasted unlike any that I've had before. Delicious!
Cool place! Never tried something like it in London, is great to have a place where eat proper hot dogs! They grilled the dog and have great options on the toppings I had one with choped tomatoes,lime dressing and sour cream! It was amazing!
