Wonderful experience with a great team! Many thanks for the "tea-shop" indications. Very nice and tasty Hot dogs and amazing pastry especially the cherry cake I recommend!
What a fantastic place! They make their own sausages in fantastic flavors and even the bacon they cure themselves. Amazing coffee and even better pastries that take you straight to Italy. Highly recommend when visiting this area!
After reading good reviews, decided to try baps from this little cafe. Food was really good and freshly prepared. There is very little space though to sit and eat your food. But you can always order takeout. Its next to Greenwich park gate. This time we ordered veg sausage & avocado bap and classic sausage bap. I will definitely try others as well. Recommended if you are around Greenwich park.
*update* after months of hesitation, finally went back. The veggie sausages are like they used to be! No more weird casing. Usually we love this place! However, today we were disappointed. The sausages in the veggie bap had plastic casings that came off like we were eating plastic see photo... and the spicey sausage roll had only half a sausage in it and was so dry it was quite inedible. Hopefully we have a better experience next time, as usually it's really good!!
This is a great place to go for breakfast, lunch or even for a snack. The staff are great and there are options for all diets. We took ours to go and sat nearby in the Greenwich Park herb garden. Remember napkins though! The sausage in the photo is a chorizo style spicy sausage with coleslaw and mustard.
Ordered online. Didn't have many pictures. Should have known better. Charged me £2.75 for 5 tiny potato rosti and £2.35 for a cannoli that is about the size of my index finger. I invite you to look at the photos and judge for yourself if it is ripping the customer off to charge nearly £3 each for these items.. Won't be seeing any more of my money. That's for sure!
Heaps is possibly one of the best sausage cafes and deli in London! They stock a variety of tasty sausages and their take away menu has some delicious options, including the crispy bacon and avocado bap. Heaps is definitely a great visit in Greenwich!
Heaps sausages was an early lockdown find in 2020. A staple of the community with consistently great quality food, and a wonderful team we joined with friends from both sides of the river after a weekend walk to Heaps, then sat in Greenwich park to eat. Can’t rate this place highly enough, for everything it delivers to the community.Recommended dishesBig Heap's BAP
Great meat pasties but, for the love of God, please don't buy their vegan sausage roll. I'm sure no one tested it before putting it up for sale. You'll be better off eating a scoop of soil from the Park. Just go to Gregg's instead.
Hands down the BEST cafe in London. The sausages are to die for. The location is idyllic. The people are friendly. The staff are friendly and attentive and take pride in the fact that they are providing the best. I recommend the sausage bap with egg and fried onion.
